I feel badly for Resilient. It's literally a one-man operation and that one man is a veteran. Between these can failures, the broader Putnik recall, and the duplicate serial number issue with the RS9, it's a really poor start for the company. Nobody wants to see the company fail, but they have some work to do in order to regain trust. Props to you for staying positive and supporting them.

Was thinking about getting resilient suppressors RS9 for my Dakota Tactical D54, but also interested in seeing what the MOB from CAT is like
I talk to one of the engineers daily in a group chat I’m in. He hyped this can up for months gave us discounts to get then early just to be let down with the recall

I wouldn't have an issue if the manufacturer quickly fixed the issues and shipped it at their cost. What would make me cautious is if there was a consistent pattern of failures and they weren't rectified in a timely manor. The Putnik is an interesting design nonetheless and the AK suppressors market is such a niche sector that more options is always welcomed.

I'm still super interested in the Putnik, recalls aren't good but handling them the right way is the mark of a company that cares about being better. I think sometimes that can be hard to recognize, especially right after your $800 can blew up. Not suppressor related but on the other side of the spectrum I've been waiting on Safariland customer service for a month. Can't say that's left a good impression.
i'd rather a company swallow pride, issue a recall, and never make that mistake again; versus DA hiding their garbage and screwing over ppl

I love my putnik even tho I had to send it back they still have my vote. There was a few things that I was upset about when I got the can. Sent an email got back to me very apologetic about them had to send it back for that warranty work but I really like what they do. And they are the only suppressor company that's primarily making suppressors designed around the AK platform and that's all I own.

Probably the largest diameter can in the US market right now. Even the stubby fat cat suppressor is less than 2 inches in diameter. I wonder if it will work well on non-ak platform.
Good sound, low back pressure, I would think it would work very well.
We have to go wider. I want the ultimate chonky boi can....4" wide minimum.
It works well on a mk18 as well. It handles higher pressures from short barrels really well imo.

I think the 2A community is, generally, very tolerant with start-up weapons companies while they work through teething issues, as long as they have good customer service. PSA is a good example, I've personally seen a stock PSA AR-15 fail to return to battery after each shot right out the box and even with their growth they offered to take it back and fix it immediately, no questions.
On the other side of the spectrum is H&K. An established manufacturer with awful customer service both now and historically. I can also tell you from personal experience, if you have made any customization to an H&K, no matter how small, they are not taking it back if it has an unrelated failure. Period.
If Resilient continues to stand by their products while they work through issues, I have no doubt they will be successful.

So dont buy this can as the average consumer paying for a stamp? Where is the serial number on this thing? When they blew up was the serial number or do they utilize a serial id ring?
Cans are good now. On the color near the adapter. Nothing was damaged to the point of needing new SN

The people who freak out over product failure have likely never designed somrthing at a high level and manufactured it. I have. I work in O&G and nothing worth a damn is amazing the first time. SpaceX is the cutting edge of Aerospace. Greatest of all time.. and their stuff blows up.

The can has an outer annulus it’s definitely not like a reflex can. Reflex cans recess over the barrel, think m110 can or aem5.

These suppressors fail the same way the machine shop suppressors fail in Ukraine

@@ANRDesignLLC there's a couple photos of mystery CNC shops making suppressors in both metric and western barrel threads, and they blow out at the welds very similarly to how the putnik failed in the video. It's not a dig on anyone, just a comparison on how they've similarly failed

Serbians put out turds from time to time. I had a M92 rip out its rear trunnion because the receiver was softer than baby shit. I have an M85 with mag catch rivet so butchered it looks like a moon crater.

its made well, they just had some weld issues that they've rectified
