- A lot of you were curious about my Skincare routine, so here's a detailed video with all the steps of my Morning routine.
Skincare is all about self care and doing what's right for your skin. So take your time in finding what works best for you and have fun with it. Hope you enjoy this video:)
This is such a good routine. Here are a few points from a dermatologist’s point of view:
Mask is not very necessary. Like she said can be used in days when you want to take extra care of skin.
Always be gentle with your skin like she is. And yes damp skin absorbs ingredients better. Except when you are using a retinol or acids, then you want your skin to be dry to avoid irritation.
Niacinamide green tea toner : though toners are a skippable part of skin care , if you want to use go for an alcohol free toner. Green tea is a good ingredient to have in your toner as it reduces redness and irritation and is soothing on skin. Niacinamide helps in reducing dark spots and also reduces acne eruptions
Vitamin C serum : it is an antioxidant and best applied in the morning as it also provides protection from UV days. It helps in lightening faint dark spots. Also improves collagen synthesis and reduces fine lines.
SPF with ceramides : a sunscreen is the most important part of morning skin care routine. Use a susncreen that suits your skin type. Cream or lotion based for dry skin and gel based for oily skin.
Better to apply one sunscreen and then apply a tinted sunscreen on top of it. Don’t mix two products. Let one layer absorb. Sometimes different sunscreen ingredients may not be synergistic and cause the other ingredient to be inactive. Also we want a uniform layer of susncreen for adequate protection.
Lip balm is an important part of skin care to reduce chapping, darkening.
And yes lip balm can be applied on the eyelids and corners of eyes too.
If you have dark lips go for a colourless fragrance free lip balm with SPF.
Overall a great hassle free simple routine. This is what you need as consistency is always more important than using too many products when it comes to a good skin care routine.

These are some things I do that have helped me get skin free from acne and healthy, glowing all day long.
- Use a gentle face cleanser that eliminates excess oil and cleanses your skin well. I recommend littlleextra rriiceberry face wash only as it balances the skin pH too.
- Eat a healthy diet. Avoid oily, junk, and spicy foods. Opt for vegetables, fruits, and foods rich in vitamins C, E, A, antioxidants, and minerals.
- Exercise aids clean impurities, so make sure to exercise regularly to cleanse your whole body.
- Avoid touching your face often coz our hands are generally full of germs that can lead to acne when they touch the face.
- Weekly, use an oil or serum for a facial massage to improve circulation.
- Apply riceberry vitamin c face serum daily as it has antioxidant properties and it helped me fade dark spots and I got radiant skin.
- Weekly, do a cleanup routine: cleansing, steaming, scrubbing, use a mask, and rub 2-3 ice cubes.
- Clean your brushes and other items you use coz they can host germs that can cause acne when they come into contact with your skin.
This littleextra brand is trying hard to promote their riceberry cleanser everywhere 😂

The fact that she only mentioned the contents of the products she used without promoting or naming or saying where or how we can buy these shows that she genuinely uses these stuffs. actually i feel if she had told names we would know what products and then can actually try them this was not as helpful without names. it would have been good advice as she has tried out the products so would be more helpful but none the less it was a good video

One thing that I really appreciate about Kriti is the fact that she is pretty 'down to earth', unlike a lot of other Indian celebrities!! That is one reason why Kriti is speaking in Hindi, which makes it easier for a lot of viewers who would not understand English so well!!

This was lovely to watch:) For mid range vitamin C serum, I would recommend Boost by Paula’s Choice. I have been using it and personally find it better than vitamin c from drunk elephant. Just my two cents✌🏽

I just went through some comments and did watch Kriti's video more than twice ig nd i really do love her. I feel (and according to what other ppl have written) actor/ actresses that don't come from the industry as in who don't belong to any parent or family who are actor and actress tend to be more down to earth and natural. There might be some star kid like her but most of the star kids are so involved with the industry matters and their families stardom from a young age that when they grow up they tend to show attitude and feel they should always be given first priority. I come from a normal family background that's why ik the difference. So yea, hats of to Kriti's success, am really happy for u and i really love u and hats of to her parents for bringing her up to well. And yes her videos are amazing.

@@vandanagulati8039 I like watching a lot of skincare content on CZcams, and use some of these products myself😄. They are mostly from very popular brands, so it wasn't very difficult to make a guess from the product packaging/ brand logo. 😅
@@vaishnavividhate7310 I'm glad that it helped, I'm not sure about the serum brand tho,😅 the colour reminded me of skinceuticals since their vitamic C serum also looks a bit 🤏 yellowish and has this type of packaging.... Kriti's one, however, I think has oxidised a little, I'm afraid🥲, she should store it in a fridge and use it up fast before it goes completely rancid.

I started using sunscreen religiously every morning since April and boy do i notice the difference! Also my favourite sunscreen are the minimalist one (Which is spf 50 and contains niacinamide) and the conscious chemist spf 50 and the spf 30 + Vitamin c one! Such great sunscreens in the indian market!
Is it ok for skin to use vitamin c serum in day time? Doesn't it irritate skin ?
@@mithila2399 No no of course it doesn't.. Vitamin C helps the sunscreen and they work in sync to give you that glow. I use the minimalist vitamin c in the morning before i apply sunscreen and it works magic.

Are those 2 spf's waterproof? Also, can you suggest a decent waterproof body sunscreen (one available in bigger sizes than 50 ml or so)? I swim a lot and am kinda sick of paying exorbitant amounts for a bottle that ain't gonna last a week at most.
