Thank you all for the kind comments. We were so nervous going into this but it’s been awesome to see all the positive feedback 🙏. Nice editing Michael!
Chuck hosted a headphone comparison g2g years ago and also the first stop on our 2017 AVSForum KC tour. He and Angela have always been gracious hosts and their home and theater space are beautiful! It’s neat to hear they worked on the space together! The only thing missing from this video was more cat b-roll! Thanks Michael. Thanks Chuck and Angela for hosting a tour!
I love how every home theater is different, cant wait to see this video, that's a awesome screen and it being 16:9 maximises the space really well
Wow! what a home and what a home theatre set up! great to see doing this hobby as a couple!
Michael, this is great. You are tailoring the tours to the comfort level of the guests, not forcing the same format for all of them. And there is something to be said for activity listening to music on a good system, it and be transformative
Thank you Greg. It was an incredible trip and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting some new friends
And of course that’s a beautiful space and a very cool couple!
What a cool place. Thanks for sharing. (Fellow DynAudio Junky!)
Thanks Matt
Lol I just got finished watching your desk video with the LYD's and the Bluesound and NAD video. So cool to see you here too! Keep it up man.
Beautiful condo and great home theater. Love seeing a couple that are both interested in home theater.
Loving this series! I love seeing everyones different taste/set up
👍
Wow! I'm not sure what the best thing about this tour is - the awesome theatre or the fact it's over a jazz club!
Thanks for the tour. Chuck and Angela are wonderful people with a passion for home theater and through their experience created an amazing HT space in a non traditional space. Shout to Danny for the amazing artwork.
Thanks Randy glad you’re enjoying the videos
You are my god send angel on setting up my first ever home theater. I am following every inch of your foot steps.
Wow...what a beautiful home and really cool theater!
The Allison Luff video was INSANE. Thank you for sharing that. What a voice.
I can’t stop listening to it
Also recommend Kelly Clarkson “It’s Quiet Uptown,” Sara Bareilles “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” and Regina Spector “Don’t Leave Me (captured in The Live Room)” …
Beautiful home and another great video tour. Thanks Michael.
Thank you kindly John
Rhythmik yeahhhhh!!! Love it. So much individuality. Love the art. This is a beautiful.
We always enjoy and stay in that area when we travel to KC. Enjoyed the tour and video.
I enjoyed everything about this video. What a fantastic couple.
Angela’s robots are adorable. Love them.
Enjoying the KC tour. A plethora of systems!
I'm really enjoying how every theater is different. It really goes to show that you have to build to your taste.
Thank you for all the hard work and I am getting more ideas on how to make my living room theater more better and I love watching what others are using when it comes to speakers, amps, subs and LCR's for their system ..
Glad you are enjoying the content and finding value in them
What a beautiful home and home theater room. Keep up the great work Michael!!
Thank you Ed.
Wow, what an amazing place! That's a really nice theater!
Awesome theater, beautiful condo
Man , what a beautiful home. congratulations.
Wow, very nice. Well done
Awesome place downtown guys! Your room turned out excellent. That's great you were able to incorporate a theater into a condo like you did.
What an epic condo! Those floors are beautiful!
Indeed they were
Incredibly cool …. EVERYTHING 😎
What a cool place. Thank you for sharing your house with us. I really enjoyed your robot collection. It reminds me of something out of the Transformer franchise movies. I very much enjoyed your theater.
Very cool video, classy place. This video captures what many youtube reviewers' videos lack...showing the entire sound room, and even the entire home. Wonderful work here.
Thank you kindly. Glad you enjoyed the video
Fantastic Space ... Wonderful looking home =)
Chuck and Angela, beautiful condo. I love how open and airy it feels throughout the place. I particularly like how you went above and beyond to ensure the neighbors below don't enjoy the subs as much as you do. 🙂
This series has been great so far filled with experiences and ideas. Sounds like Youthman might be racking up flying miles hitting different cities in 2022.
Thanks Wayne. Glad you are enjoying the videos
I can’t wait for this one, big dynaudio fan
Jump ahead to 9:20 for the theater! Cool building and art and cat, but we’re here for theater first😁. I’m loving these tours! Looking forward to the next one.
I enjoyed the entire video... the additional pre-theater content adds context ... aside from being a drop dead beautiful property.
Glad you’re enjoying the video
@@FOH3663 I liked all of it, too. Especially those robots. Very cool.
These are great Michael, really enjoy seeing other rooms in the house 🏡. Keep up the great content. You’re slaying it Youthman.
Thank you kindly. Just trying to do my part for the community
Wow, beautiful place... thanks for sharing and allowing us a glimpse into your home.
... YM, solid work.
So much to comment on, I mean the property is absolutely stunning.
Seems as if the elephant in the room, is in the room above the bedroom!
I can't help it, however my acoustics-centric mind-set focuses on the challenge the neighbors present.
I mean it's tricky proposition operating a HT directly over another tenant's bedroom.
In the 80's, my wife and I had an apartment in a hip, renovated, 1880's schoolhouse, in downtown Indianapolis.
We, on the 2nd floor of a three floor structure, had units above, below, and on either side of us (did have it's benefits)*.
I get it, pre-emptive neighborly communication goes a long way. But wow, what a challenge... maintaining that good neighbor relationship, yet still fully experience the home theater... largely free from external influences that may remove you from the experience.
I'd really enjoy learning more about the isolation efforts within the floor system, etc.
The challenge of this situation seems ideal for implementing nearfield or tactile drivers.
None of this detracts from how nice this place is... I mean keep things in perspective, you're right in the heart of the action, plus a Cafe and Jazz club down at street level!
So yeah, the sound transmission issue certainly qualifies as a first world problemo.
Thanks
*(our unit faced east, away from prevailing winds, entirely surrounded by other units, so our HVAC system wasn't taxed at all... great, because our ceilings were 16' or so tall)
Beautiful System.
Beautiful home
Wow! Beautiful condo and theater.
Love Dynaudio speakers. Best speakers you can get for 2 channel stereo. I still miss my Special Forty’s.
That condo is gorgeous!
Dynaudio makes some crazy high end stuff...I can imagine how impressive it would sound!
Amazing condo!
I really like the robots, that's unique , pretty cool.
Great video, very cool robots and system.
The moment when you step into the cinema and the sound completely changes ... 😉👍
That’s what acoustic treatment will do
@@Youthman Yeah, I know. But you don't get that a lot in home theater presentation videos, that the difference between the normal living area an the theater room is noticable THAT huge. Normally you have a scene "outdoor" and the next one is inside the theater, not like in your video, where you walk in the room and hear the difference "live" ... and I'm watching your video on small smartphone. I guess the real life experience must be at least ten times bigger ;)
Great couple!
Loving the fancy downtown pad.
As Michael said, it's really nice to see a home theatre for a couple rather than just one enthusiast.
Beautiful couple and home
I could definately see myself using Dynaudio for my home Theater. I live just a 1 hour drive from the factory in Skanderborg where they are built. I went to a robot-programming course some years back where I met 2 guys from the Dynaudio factory. Great people to hang out with.
Great video. Love Dynaudio as I am a Hi-Fi enthusiast as much as a movie / Home Theatre enthusiast. Very precise and dynamic Danish speakers. Would love to hear them in that setup and in that room.
Hey Chuck and Angela, great tour! You guys have the coolest condo space in the city and the Dynaudio sound as nice as they look. No Segway rides?!
Love the robots, nice home theater tour.
Glad you enjoyed the video
Cool condo Very 👌 nice
Nice room! I see some dynaudio M3XE monitors (aka cinema master 60) in the owners LCR future...amazeballs!
Another awesome video Mike, I missed the premiere earlier, thank you for the content brotha. As a side note, have you thought about doing tours of remote rooms you have not visited personally? With your style of allowing the owner do their own tour I think that would line up and drastically open your horizons to content that you can edit and upload at your leisure with just a bit of guidance that I am sure you give in person anyway. Just thinking out loud.
Thanks Eric. Glad you are enjoying the videos. I appreciate the input but honestly, Im excited to offer something no one else on this platform is doing with the physical tours.
I like seeing speakers in the room.
Beautiful home. Dynaudio makes some of the best drivers in the business. Finally a theatre without jtr. I was getting jtr out. Love the channel great theater michael
The Dynaudio system was sweet.
... JTR product still made the video, in the rec room above the display.
I don’t choose what brands are represented in the Home Theater Tours.
Beautiful condo and awesome theater setup. Thank you for sharing!
I didn't see the the question/answer in the other comments or elsewhere, what's the couch/seating manufacturer model?
Thanks for the kind words. The couch is from Fortress Seating and the model is Crosstown.
I loved the home mini tour included. It’s something I always wonder.
“What does the rest of the house look like ?”
A beauty. Where you able to test out some movies and where you impressed with the overall audio and video quality? Wondering if the robots cause vibration and noise.
We didn’t listen to it at Reference so no vibrations. It was very pleasant.
KeepFeathering it brother.
Hello youthman, Since my receiver is from 10 years ago and it was really high quality and expensive at the time we bought it, And I don't want to change it because the is really good and I only have a 7.2 setup since I don't have much space, So my question is If there is a chance to get dolby atmos and dts x as an addon for this receiver, Is it possible??? because I'm not really experienced, I'm but not that much.
Unfortunately your AVR does the processing and amplification so without a new AVR, you will not be able to have Atmos
Hey... Have u heard the Klipsch KPT-1802-HLS sub?
I haven’t heard any of e pro subs
You could recommend to that couple they make portable air conditioners that are not very big and would have no problem cooling that room. You just plug them into the wall. They would just have to look one up that was rated for that room size. They’re not very expensive either.
I’m guessing they may prefer to keep the clean look of the theater.
@@Youthman Ya your probably right I didn’t think about that… There huge condo was really nice looking and had a very cool vibe to it.
I really enjoyed it
Wasn't sure I was watching the right video, thought I'd wondered onto a house selling program for a second...
another great video there Youth Man. did not get a notice from YT this time, stupid YT
That’s why it’s best to be on my email list. I always send out an email for new videos
@@Youthman I am, but I old and forgot
🤣
I enjoy how each home theater is a bit different. I will be working on placing and setting up a home theater in early 2022, assuming we finish the bathroom, by then. Though I will be waiting until summer 2022, to buy a tv, and then an Atmos/DTS:x/auro-3d receiver that is fully hdmi 2.1 supporting…. I should also say, that I will be going with a tv, as opposed to a projector, I mean I liked/had a projector, but now with hdr, I feel a big (talking 75+ inches tv), would be better, though it will depend on what Sony/Lg release next year, for I want Dolby vision, with hopefully good zones, and limited blooming, in the led market, if they even release led TV’s next year, with any improvements, like vrr…
I too am a fan of direct view displays, an 85" Sony currently in primary rig.
65" Panny plasma is secondary rig.
Third, the greatest CRT TV ever made; 40" Sony! (sadly, it's currently relegated to Wii Sports)
A quality projector, onto an acoustic transparent screen is superior for most all applications, but there's exceptions.
AT screens bring significant acoustic advantages, and TV displays can be an acoustic liability. I've put forth a lot of effort into minimizing the big panels influence... and it works great.
Nice video. The robot maker got a lot of attention :-)
Nice house and theater! He said he had 2 rythmic subs. But he never said where they were located .I don't know if I missed it or he just didn't say it in video
One was off to the left as you walk in the door the other one was behind the screen is too dark to film
@@YouthmanThanks man! Your doing an awsome job with these videos. I appreciate you doing this its giving me some ideas
I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos
That's a nice setup they have there, but I was actually more impressed by the loft itself. Of course, I wondered about their theater creating a noise disturbance for their neighbors, but that was somewhat addressed in the video.
If they really loved the assemblage art robots they found to use as decoration, then they should have given a shout-out to the artist by mentioning their name. They gave the state where the artist lived, that is if he recalled correctly, for he did say, "Angela found an artist, who works out of Massachusetts, I believe, who makes robots." He even mentions how the artist uses discarded "junk" as the medium for his work, and lists places the artist would acquire this material, but no mention of a website, or most importantly, the artist's name. The artist would appreciate that the most. I don't think they really "loved" them to that degree. They just needed something to fill the "empty" space for aesthetics, and they managed to come across just the things that were more than merely sufficient for filling that empty space: those robots which I have no doubt they really liked, but I don't feel the love they claim to have for them, especially failing to give the artist their dues, and potentially send some potential buyers their way. Oh well, this video isn't really about that aspect of a home theater, and besides, something seems a little off about that couple anyway. Nothing wrong with them, just slightly peculiar, but hey, I usually prefer the weirdos anyway. Perhaps they were just a little nervous to be on video.
I really dug that loft though, but I won't move back to the Midwest to live in something like that. He has it right though, no yard to manage with mowing, trimming, weeding, possible gardening on top of that, and then there's the shoveling of the sidewalk, driveway, and pathway. I'll just remain here in the desert Southwest where I do not need to shovel sunshine, although I do have a yard, but it has minimal landscaping, just a few plants and cacti while most of it is dirt and rocks. So, I have very little yardwork to worry about, and outside of shoveling snow, I don't have to freeze to death in the winter, nor subject my vehicles to all of the salt they throw on the streets! I have a pool, which they won't be able to have . . . well, not the traditional inground style anyway. However, they do have that little rooftop deck that is nice to have when you have no yard. You can still relax outside, with an unobstructed view of the night sky for watching the stars, or other things that may be up there. They could possibly elevate the deck, and install a swim spa if they so desired, and the structure could bear the load. The downtown area of many cities are often a cool place to reside, if you are into any activities considered to be nightlife, or if you're an art appreciator, or were into the night club scene, or was (like with me) a music junkie, downtown can be a highly convenient place to live, for often it will provide easy access to those activities, and many more. However, you have to be familiar with the city's nightlife, and what else the downtown area might have to offer. I know I would have loved to live in downtown St. Louis, but I am not familiar with downtown Kansas City, Missouri to know if I would feel that living downtown was worth it . . . because if the downtown offers no nightlife, no entertainment value, or good food at a variety of restaurants, then I would have no reason to live downtown.
Thanks for creating, and sharing this video. I'm looking forward to viewing some of the other theaters on this tour!
Awesome condo very tasteful.
It breaks my heart tho to hear that most content is experienced in this high end well layed out home theater through a few hundred dollar lossy video and audio playback Apple TV source.
It’s easy to get caught up in the gear and forget about the relationships and the story. I can hear fancy gear in a HiFi shop. But it’s the personal relationships that I value the most.
I really wish you would have shown some demos. I know it doesn’t translate through video but it’s still fun to watch. The 20 min video just talking about it can get a little hard to watch. Sorry.
Sorry about that. Unfortunately I don’t provide many demos due to copyright issues. A few months ago I posted an eight second clip and received a channel strike against my account. If I get three strikes, CZcams deletes my entire channel. It’s not worth the risk.
@youthman Is this MTV cribs? Or theater rooms! Lolol
Even better than MTV Cribs 😉
@@Youthman hahah yeah. Listened to the song. Think there was some onions being cut around me too 😂😂

Way back in the day
When
The only way to hear some Dynaudio speakers
Was
To build them ourselves
Glad
To know that, now other folks can enjoy their awesomeness.
WHOA!!! NASTY! Apartment sorry Condo & Home Theater System, Thank you all.............. UK
Is it just me or does this home not seem very homely? Looks a lot like a museum to me.
It doesn’t really matter what we think. It’s their home. I thought it was fantastic.
@@Youthman Quite right. Even so, if you actively display your home environment on the internet , comments will be made. I am glad you think their home is fantastic but I do not.
Oh there is no doubt comments will be made (both positive and negative). But the reality is they didn’t purchase it to please anyone but themselves so at the end of the day, internet comments don’t matter.
@@Youthman Absolutely but I have a sneaking suspicion, based on past experience, that folks who display their home/possessions in such a manner give great credence to comments positive and negative. Of course, I could be wrong......
I personally do not make assumptions regarding the character of someone I have never met.
Tbh at the start I thought it was mother & son , they have a lovely place ,looks a little bit to show homey, other than that great video ,although a little boring, just seemed the video was more about the home and them ,than the cinema 🤷♂️
Just trying to provide a variety of content so that every home theater tour is not the same.
@@Youthman nah nothing to do with you it’s just the way the couple come across 🤷♂️
Most people are very nervous in front of a camera, especially when they are doing all of the talking. But until I can get a camera guy so I can be on camera with them to have a conversation, they have to do it solo (which is much more difficult)
I mean there is the potential for over 1 million people to be watching you. No pressure right? 🤣
@@Youthman your doing a great job , and really enjoying the new videos, pls don’t take my comment’s as being awkward, but sometimes it can help .I’ve watched the video with the guy with the speakers strapped to his seats , the video was blinding, a super nice guy and was a delight to watch
Very greedy people
Very jealous person. 😉
Garth, I’m sure they worked hard in school and at their careers, so….I’m sure they earned every last dime.
