    We Indians and Pakistanis inherited same kind of misfortunes. While we tried to overcome it through hardwork they chose shortcuts and Results are clear. I have no enmity towards common Pakistanis but they often forget that their enemy is not us Indians but their own Miltary establishment .

    Have been observing many reports about economic woes of Pakistan, however even now, none of the commentators talk about the exponential growth in Pakistan's population which exerts tremendous pressure on resources which are not endless. Almost all households shown by international channels show 4-6 children. Al Jazeera should take a leaf out of the book by focusing on this aspect also or is it deliberately ignored as it is a cheap source of labour for the richer Gulf states.

    Feel bad for the young. I was lucky enough to grow up in India at a time of immense opportunity and economic boom. My parents didn’t get these opportunities and wasted their talents due to poverty so that I can have access to those opportunities.
    A rock bottom Pakistan might not be good for India in the long run because Islamic radicalisation will increase if people are desperate and poor. On the other hand, I feel it’s karma finally hitting Pakistani government that has provoked 4 wars against India sponsored countless terrorist attacks.

    Why do Muslim countries consistently fail?
    They seem unable to provide a sustained model of growth for their people regardless of where they exist. These people are as intelligent as any others but consistently for the past 100 years they go through cycles of boom and bust which inevitably contribute to their steady downward decline. In the absence of rentier economies which only have to pump oil none of them seem capable of delivering sustained stable growth for their citizens.

    The people of Pakistan are suffering due to the wrong policies of the Army and politicians, they are actually so rich, that if they give back some of the wealth they have earned, mostly through corrupt means, they will be able to improve, but unfortunately the people are fed with Hindu hate, politics is hijacked by Army, they don't need external enemies.

    The reporters should specify the currency as Pakistani Rupee and not simply as Rupee as it would make the Indian Rupee look weak.

    Pakistan should provide more support and subsidies to the agricultural sector because in agricultural sector the poorest persons are involved generally. If agricultural economy increases, huge poverty reduction happens because support goes to the poorest people directly. That's what we do in Bangladesh. And I know about the resilience of the people of Pakistan, I don't think it will collapse so easily.
