Hi Danny.. I own a Pro-One Dominator which is a 121 cube and its is one Angry bike so I totally understand your point of view... and Yes this type of bike is seriously dangerous specially in the wet... and corners you have to go right down in speed to go around them or you have to hang ya arse out to help stick it to the ground to go round the roundabout above 60 kph... any faster you'll get flipped off the seat... The Great Ocean Road is as beautiful as ever. I remember seeing Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs playing at the Lorne hotel back in the 1970s.

It's been years since I've been down under. I been to Perth, Brisbane Queensland, Sidney, Bondi Beach but never been to the beautiful Melbourne (Back in my U.S. Navy Days.) The ride looks awesome. It reminds me of riding up the beach from L.A. to Pismo Beach. Absolutely Beautiful, Mother Nature at her finest.

Just settling down, comfortably, to a nicely chilled prawn cocktail and now I get to watch a squid on a hog go down "The Great Ocean Road." I'm well rounded, wouldn't you say? MDB, you may be the CZcams "Master of Disaster," but I'm the "Jokester in the Roadster." Your production values are really incredible. I'm impressed. That coastline is one of the most beautiful places / rides in the world. On the one hand an oddly spectacular place to warehouse a bunch of convicts but on the other hand, in Australia, if it walks, slithers, crawls, stings, or bites, swims or swarms, sooner or later it's gonna try to kill you. The bike sounds good.

I've a Hopped up FXDXI and a home build FX with STD heads , Andrews EV 5 cam, a Mikuni HSR 45 and Supertrapp exhaust system I ride Harley's allways fast .
I am 61 and ride these machines like hell and love it !!!

I was laughing my arse off at your vlog, good on you saying it as it is. I lived in Oz from 1980 till 2005 & loved every minute of it, sadly I had to.return to Wales due to family issues, but on the flip side I bought a Fatboy Lo Special in 2017 new , that has the 103 co in it with a full stage 1 & it's plenty fast enough for me (I'm 62 now). hi Daniel, have been following your youtube for mnths, you are 10/10 for quality and effort, appreciate your expertise, love your talent, have had 6 Harleys, about 30 bikes over 50years and been professional bike rider for over 10 years, love hate with Harleys, because of lack of power, but love my 80s potato potato, fxr, and consequently, my latest 06 sportster, carby 1200r, which sounds like original, despite my 16 Harley limited, part water cooled.,,, you are a legend for me, despite being 67 years of age, am tempted to buy the latest you have tested, as I love power, and I love your incredible blogs of the Australian and other countrysides travel, you are an inspiration, and talent as I have not seen before , yours truly, otto., love your honesty, and that lates hog sounds like a lion, wow....

Dude I can't express how much I enjoy the genuine quality and honesty of your videos, everything from the well-planted sarcasm to the heartfelt moments, it's golden. My family is going through a super shitty deal right now so lots of anxiety filled depressing days. For whatever reason you vlogs bring me a sense of calm I can't seem to find anywhere else. I think it's because you're still fighting demons but you keep pushing on. As you say the show must go on. Just wanted to say thanks.

It's been an emotional roller-coaster for you, we the viewers have had some great laughs watching some of the antics you've got up to, but we've also seen the enormous pain you were dealing with, anyone with a little bit of empathy would have felt that pain with you, those that Slag you off... Well pity we can't all have a perfect life like them.
Loved the videos taken at the harley dealership, they look like a proper good crew with great sense of humours. I wish you a very happy Christmas and all the very best for 2020, I hope you continue to go on these trips and if you do i can't wait to see them.

I think you should buy the bike. I did not like, or have any interest in the new FXDR, until I seen their build. They did a great job.

That was way worth the wait, my therapy is riding my bike, it's way better than when I did meth and now actually have a life that is beyond my wildest dreams, looking forward to each day instead of hating myself.

There really were several bikes named Widowmaker built By E.J. Potter from Ithaca MI USA. First he put a 327 Cubic inch V-8 Chevrolet in a Harley Frame.. That did not hold up so he used his College Welding Education to fabricate his own Motorcycle Frames.. He ran his Bikes in 1/4 mile Drag strip exhibitions all over the World including Australia and UK

Nice bike, but 140 hp is not that much these days, that bike must have a massive amount of torque though. Great vlog Daniel, great shots, you're getting good with that drone. I'm missing my home state now, love the GOR.

Love the FXDR, probably should marketed against the Ducati Diavel, although would need brake and suspension upgrades to match outright performance

Years ago I rode the "new" Kawasaki 2000cc cruiser bike. Talk about smiles per mile! I wouldn't own one but WoW what a blast to ride. This Harley would be waaaaay better and in a smaller package than the Kawasaki but still pull your arms off! I would suggest this is fine as an appetizer, now jump onto a Hyabusa or H2 and go again! Oh by the way - take an extra pair of underpants!
They should just tune the beast so it's not so jerky at lower speeds. Then it will behave around roundabouts and slow manoeuvring (in car parks, making U-turns, etc) - it would then be user friendly and much more pleasurable to ride. The mad and insane torque and acceleration would still be maintained.
The flies are horrendous, but Australia is very beautiful.
You really do live in a outstanding place danny.
The bike is lovley looking and sounds fantastic but as it's been pointed out , definitely for the younger rider.

I think the dealership build themselves a very nice bike with power as you need it. It could be for anybody who is looking for that kind of torque and POWER. Since I am a cruiser touring kind of guy, I won't mind the torque and alittle bit of that power. This shows you what could be done with a Harley if you have a little money to spend. It's all about the money what could be done with a Harley with just a little bit of money to spend.
Hey Danny, great vlog. Just for your info I’m 56 have ridden HD,s for the last 12 yrs and would love the FXDR. Unfortunately due to the migration issues with the trans on the M8 I’m currently on an RT, great bike but not a HD. But just to say again I’m the older rider and will buy one when the time is right. Just goes to show as you said it’s horses for courses. Keep up the great vlogs and have a good Christmas and New Year and I’m envious of your back yard, seeing I live in the UK.

Just watching the video you can tell your on a monster. The shot you took of the bike when you were stopped with the flag person showed how big that bike really is.

Just bought my first bike July 6th 2020. It’s a 13 softail blackline with the 103 and I feel like this things power is crazy. It make me really want to ride a high horse power hd.

The Secondary drive belt looks very thin at 6:07 , could be wrong but ive seen much thicker belts on smaller capacity bikes (harleys)
