I’m not affiliated to this product but I have two and use them for travel all the time. The pouch isn’t nice but it’s so useful and lighter than taking an extension cable. The indicator light is really useful to see if it’s charging at high speed. It’s expensive but I’m happy with it.

This definitely doesn't seem like it is made for travel. It's way too overkill and unnecessarily heavy. Maybe it's to get that industrial looking aesthetic for a desktop setup perhaps for a keyboard. The case is hilariously bad 😂

    Hey Eric,
Just got these cables. So far much more durable than the Rolling Square cables for sure. Bought like 16 of them for friends and family and almost each one goes bad within 2-6mos. They give you replacement tips but it still sometime works and most times don’t. Bad QC on their part.
But AOHI is overkill but I don’t want to keep looking for new ones. The thing I would change is the locking works well in-between but the weak points are the ends when stretched out. Where you plug one side into power adapter and other to phone, when stretched far (not maxed) it falls out if the weight is not evenly distributed. But the power ratings and charging times are superior to RS XL. I guess the XL is limited when used on a long 3m cables. But XL cables are cheaper than AOHI on a unit cost basis but definitely not on a longevity and ownership cost comparison as they simply don’t last.

the pouch is so badly designed. The hassle getting the cables in and out…

I can't think any reason why I would buy that cable... Looks bad on every possible way

while i love braided cables, give me plastic ends any day. if i happen to drop my phone while it's charging, i'd much rather break a cheap cable than the charging port on my very expensive phone.
