    Awesome video mate Holden charging $2500 to replace mine so really helpful is replacing the spark plugs a must?

      I'm stuck on trying to pull the fuel rail off doesn't seem to want to let go of the injectors so it's coming off but with injectors still inside do you have any tips please

    Ive got the same motor in my 2011 VE, and need to replace a coil, so ive decided to change all 6 and sparks aswell, just wondering if you need to remove the manifold in order to replace the coils? Cheers mate!

      No you can get them all out without taking it off. On the drivers side you just need to take off the side bracket 👍🏽👍🏽

      @Demop_VW_garage no joke. In a drill let it flop about without damaging anything. I'm yet to take the manifold off my lfx.

    I am doing this job myself now on a LFW 3.0 SIDI VE Omega........ and mine are totally stuck. 5 hours so far trying with two breaker bars, some carby cleaner. Mine has metal clips holdin in the injectors it looks like yours don't on here....

      There is clips on this motor too, it was a crap job thats for sure.

      @@DemopVWgarage So did you somehow take the injector clips off before pulling the rail? I can't even see them really... I've got multiple injectors gone bad so.... I think they are just really stuck.

      @@MrHC1983 Haha doing the same on my 2011 VE series 2 ute LLT engine and was thinking he had no clips as are no videos on anyone removing the clips.

      @@nedkelly9688 I worked out the clips are on the electrical side I think so it doesn't stop it coming up. I managed to get one rail up (injectors all came up with it)...... but I can't get it out, as I need to get the passenger side up first..... (wish I'd started with that). Took like 6 hours with many things to get up the first side.... the carbon is real bad on these so....

      @@MrHC1983 Yea i got drivers side out easy and the clips just came off. but passenger side they have nowhere to go.

    Wow though I Waa gunna be able to do my own injectors. Well guess not. I've got a misfire on n03 and it's running rich as I always have black exhaust debris on my tail gate I've already changed the spark plugs without removing the top. Good job mate 👍

      ​@Demop_VW_garage Yes you are right it is easy I got it done in a day and a half the only thing hard was because mine is a crappy alloytec and I had to fight to get the first rail out because it keeped catching on the water neck so I used a big crow bar without damaging it I reefed it out and from there all good. This video of yours really helped so thanks for that 👍 there was no pull or push back on the rails the had to come straight up

      If you care about emissions 😉 A good scan tool like the Vident i400AU OBD will do it easy ;)

      You are so right, just got the code p2097-00 yesterday and ordered a new crank sensor, its been sounding funny on start up for a while.

    How much were the new injectors?
    I have seen there are cheap ones available for the LLT on eBay for $150 aud for 6 and hoping they will do the trick.

      $500, they are holden ones that have been refurbished. The cheap ones will give you problems.
