- Today I've challenged myself to create a fourth starter for Kanto, all the way to Sinnoh. This is one of the first time I actually made complete fakemon so I hope you like it! #fakemon

I love the idea that in every Region they is three starter types and then there is a mystery starter that can be any type! It would be fun to see the other regions starters and to see their evolves😊

Fantastic work man. You have nailed Ken Sugimori’s style while putting your own unique twist on your designs. May I kindly make one suggestion? If you changed poisizzle’s typing to fairy(or even fairy/rock) and make him a primary special attacker it would greatly synergize well with Medusa’s mythology. You could even give it a unique special fairy damaging move that either literally changes them to a magical crystal state or encases them in it with a chance to paralyze. If you went with the fairy/rock typing that move could probably work as a special rock move too but fairy seems more fitting. Just my two cents though. 😊

The Kanto games has five starters. Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Pikachu and Eevee. Eevee was only a playable starter in Let's Go. That said, Blue had one in Yellow.

The electric dinosaur should obviously be a stegosaurus where electric spikes came out the back of it. But nice video :)
Charmander is based on an amphibious actually (when people believed that salamanders came out of fire, because they live inside/ beneath wood that we use as fuel). Nice video by the way ❤

The gen 1 looked just a little too much like Charmander. I would have probably gone with more of a salamander-like body. But isn't Pikachu already the fourth starter Pokemon of the Kanto region? I don't think Pikachu had anything to do with being a starter Pokemon in the creators' minds, but I do think if they were going to have a fourth electric type starter, they would choose Pikachu. But great creativity anyways!

Really like Zaptor, it’s second evolution is pretty cool to and hoping to see the final evolution video at some point. Would be a little difficult choosing between it and Charmander as a first pick. And hay, if someone was writing a Pokémon fanfic and wanted to use some Fakemons, could they use these if they give credit to you as their creator?

I saw a good amount of Pokemon when I was younger and recently started getting more seriously into it and watching people do videos on how their journey would be in the Pokemon world and me being me, I started getting some story ideas and team ideas and trying to stick with real mons instead of fanmade mons, especially since I have a hard time creating my own, though I have come up with at least one of my own, though it was some I created years ago as a fantasy creature and not a made up Pokemon.
Sloth was a great idea. It was my favourite as well.

I did! 👀 the themes are quite unclear for some regions since they have never been specified in general!
1st gen get rid of the head patterns & arm patterns, 2nd gen perfect, 3rd gen re-shape the eyes to make them match the "button" like eyes of the other 3 starters, gen 4 erase the tongue & swap the colour so it doesnt overlap with turtwigs colours but other than that AMAZING DESIGNS MAN ❤❤❤

Kanto is based off common pets lizard, frog, and turtle
Zaptor looks pretty good but I think if you shorten and thickened up the limbs a bit more it would fit in much more.
Zaptor is really cool but i thought the gen 1 starters were based of house hold pets or animals you could find in your backyard. Even Pikachu fits in that description

My only concern is breaking the rock paper scissors dynamic of starter types. At that point, I'd suggest types that are completely neutral to the other three: normal, fighting, psychic, ghost, or dark type.
That aside, I do like your creative designs for this concept. Keep up the good work. :)

Here Are All the Starter Themes you Could've Used or Use in the Next Video:
Kanto: Household Pets. (Because Bulbasaur is not a Reptile)
Johto: Dinosaurs.
Hoenn: Adaption. Treeko is Based on the Leaf Tail Geko. Torchics is Based on a Mytical Chicken that Adapted to Breath Fire. And Mudkip is Based on And Axolato that Can turn into a Salamander.
Sinnoh: Myths and Gods From Hindu. Buddhist. And Greek.
Unova: Emperors.
Kalos: RPG Classes. Knight, Mage, Rouge.
Alolah: Circus Animals and Liturature. The Hero. The Villian. And the Damzal in Distress.
Galar: Entertainment. Music. Sports. And James Bond Movies.
Paldea: Types of Art and Spanish Festivals.
Magic and Mardi Gras. Singing and Day of the Dead. Dancing Rio Carnival.
Gens 1-3 I could easily pick a favorite starter. Gen 4 is the hardest for me, I just can't connect with any of them. So I would totally pick Poisizzle. Out of all the designs I think shiny Zaptor is the coolest though.

I feel like in Kanto Pichu would be a starter ... and evolve into Pikachu and Raichu ... but since starters evolve by level this would change Pichu and Pikachu to evolve at 14-16 and again at 32-36

Like, if it would have veen done with 4 starters, i feel like they would have had to use attributes instead of typing and classes too so it makes more sense: earth, air, water, or fire as the starters.

A big mistake Pokemon comited was limiting the starters to water grass and fire. It would be very fun if every game had 3 different types as starters. Like a game with metal, ghost and dragon. Or ground, poison and fairy…

here are some tips for future redraws the kanto starters are based on pets you can have like a turtle, frog and lizard a snake could've worked as well I've seen hoopsandhiphop do it and the final evolution is that they gain something charizard has wings, blastoise has cannons and venusaur has a big flower tree for the fourth one it could have the cobra's thrill and the theme for the finals is that their from different eras venusaur is from the mesozoic era charizard is from the medieval era and blastoise is from the modern era for the fourth he can be from the era of ancient civilizations with some quetzalcoatl inspiration your welcome

If there were four starters they should be normal and then the regular trio. That way they have non resisted damage from normal across the board and the others have the obvious advantages of each typing

If and only if there was a 4th starter it would be an electric type because of Pikachu. It was in kanto. And if there were 5 starters it would be normal type too because of evee. So every place after that would make sense to be electric type for the fourth type.

I think the 4th starter should have been flying or normal based on the 4th element air the reason not earth element is because grass type represents earth because without grass theirs no life. But without earth there would be no grass. Now why normal could be a possible 4th starter is to represent normalcy or the ability to be anything in the future.

Make a video where you make seven pokemon starters, specifically:fire, ground, electric, grass, flying, water, and normal.
I think it's weird that he added different types for the fourth starters because the first three are still fire water and grass for every region.
Gen 1 has a forth starter Already it’s called pikachu and it is clear from episode 1 of season one including also Pokemon yellow and it’s subsequent game let’s go pikachu

1st off Pikachu is the 4th starter in Kanto, the starter in each region always fire, grass and Water, never revealed the electricity type Pokémon in the other region but kanto..but definitely there is a electricity Pokémon as starters in each region besides Kanto

The thing is each type is supposed to counter the other just like rock, paper, scissors. So where is the type that counters electric. In this case you kind of have to add a 5th one which could be rock

1st one. Too Charmander like. Needs to look just a bit different enough to stand apart. It could be a different version of Chamander. Element makes sense. 2nd one. way better, not sure if I like Ice type. Different and fits. Don't like the name. 3rd, makes sense, don't like the type. Starters have to stay simple in type hence why they stay Water, Fire, Grass. Electric, Ground, would be better types than Psychic.
4th, idk. Love the theme but Poison as a starter..not feeling it.
I went with different typings in order to make it interesting to create and watch! Otherwise it would be a bit boring and repetitive 🙌🏻
