I think you should have gone a retro color. Embrace the classic! Sage green or sea foam blue would look boss! All white on that classic body frame is a mistake. On the inside is where you go modern and updated. I love the bay window on the end!
Not everything needs to be modern and updayed, late 20th century interiors deserve appreciation and are more aesthetically pleasing than a minimalist ugly 2020s interior
@@9852323 even trailers from the 1970s-90s probably have some nostalgic warm interiors, even the most normal suburbany 70s office parks still have craftsmanship and a obvious aesthetic direction, only exception in late 20th century is ugly strip malls and big box marts,
I had one. Those windows are fixed & don't open, except for bottom right & bottom left. They are double pane windows, but once the seal gets old they leak.Condensation builds up between the sealed panes, leaving gross white streaks that can't be cleaned.
You might prefer vinyl skirting better than the old metal skirting BUT metal is so much better when you weedwack. Vinyl can get holes even if you try to be careful. Vinyl? Oh, heck NO! I'll take metal skirting instead any day of the week!
The vinyl will rot and break down in a few years take the metal off then cut them into panels and install them vertically then paint them a dark color, will last much longer.
Another idea is tear down everything to the frame and build all new . It was done in a mobile home park several years ago . Keeping the frame kept it mobile home free from property taxes . The whole park was done . A mobile home in one of America's most exclusive trailer parks is on the market for $2.4 million. Paradise Cove-Malibu, California.

I have remodeled mobile homes. Biggest issue is particle board flooring they used. Never seen one that wast soft around toilets, shower, window ac unit, and washing machine. I live in rural Georgia and they won’t let you set up an old 12’ single wide here. If it has to move, it has to go.
Looks much better. These 60s-70s MHs can have a lot of life left in them and be totally sufficient homes for people with proper maintenance. Vinyl skirting allows for ventilation which is necessary for keeping the underside free from mold
I want to build one a beefy Montana worthy short back patio from bath half loft 3bdrm 1bath my budget says otherwise tho. I’ll probably foam the outside texture paint this old rv learning a lot still so much more have you rewired anything update fuseboxes or fixtures
This house is begging for a floorplan redesign. There is so much space, but so much of that space is WASTED. Start with the bedroom, bath, master, hallway disaster. Get rid of the laundry “area”, the hall “closet”, that wonky bathroom and that wonky master closet. Put in a small master bath and a small regular bath. Enlarge the small bedroom. Reconfigure the kitchen and living into a “great room” combo instead of the island and eat in kitchen. Much better use of space. Excited to see the journey!!
I have similar front windows and I can't find anything close to mine. I think yours is older. Year make model with help I believe mine is 82 skyline alfie hernia. My neighbor has similar windows with peak his is a torch. I have 2 sliding doors opposite sides. Yours has a couple of with in the same spot. Anyone can steer me to someone who would know where I would find info on early 80s skyline models. I had vinyl sidings with hud number . I believe that means that its original equivalent. Paneling. Probably had the shaggy carpeting once. Most mobile home listenings don't have any make and model. Lucky if they have the year. The newer skyline 84 or 83 i assume it was another series.
I don't think the white is doing it justice. I think that a dark blue with white trim and white skirting would look better the dark blue is attractive and will hide the imperfections in the outside.
Not really, a maintained 1970s home will last for a while, a modern 2020s cheaply built home with ugly 2020s era minimalist interior will fall apart before 2040
Lipstick on a pig. You gonna refox the frame? The walls? Redoing insulation? I live in a mobile home from the 70's and it got "rebuilt" in 2019. New doors and windows dont mean shit if the walls and floors sag. My walls on the corners are s shaped
So it went from a beige and white rundown mobile home to an all white rundown mobile home
Nah, hes gonna give it an ugly grey minimalist interior too!
lol
Exactly! SMH
I hope you renovate the inside also with a video

@@circleinforthecube5170100% agree. Things were just more interesting and fun looking in the 20th century. New homes have no character.

I love that all window front!
Thanks for sharing beginning to look great. But I think it was better looking two-tone color. Please consider doing another video showing the interior

Yesssssss metal is better.
I would paint it a super light blue, with white trim.
The vinyl will rot and break down in a few years take the metal off then cut them into panels and install them vertically then paint them a dark color, will last much longer.
Hope you took out all the old walls and floors. Mobile homes are prone to MOLD and floor rot.

I hate capitalism
I'd do black at the top & black bottom trim w/ black skirting. Black wood window trim w/ black 'board & batten' wood shutters.
The first time you run a weedeater over that new vinyl skirting you're going to destroy it. Metal is better
wrong
I know for a fact most old mobile homes have pvc pipe and subfloor issues that need to be fixed before worrying about putting on skirting .

I hand a mobile home the damn tub fell out smh
@montanaelkwWowhisperer1744
Metal skirting would keep animals out better. With our vinyl we have had continuous problems with cats, possums and skunks!
Termites love the wood that you attach the skirt to. The use it as a highway to the wood in the trailer.
Liked and subscribed 🧡🙏

Look nice
Would you like this house? Wondering...
Yes!
I would love it !
I prefer the two toned siding, but the new paint is just fine.

Vinyl will soon rot. Leave da metal on, power wash it n paint it. Will last n looks amazing n saves money.
A Jetsons style trailer. 🚀🚀
Will you be highlighting the interior too?
Now that we've replaced the metal with vinyl everytime the yard gets mowed the vinyl gets a new, vent. No worries!
Some people's trash is another man's trash
😂😂😂 so true.
Want to see the finish look
Even painting it still look like an old mobile home

Open interiors get boring quicker and make it feel smaller
With the rest of the video of how it looks like in the inside ✌️
I am about to move into a fixer upper mobile home... been looking for this type of content a while for some ideas.
Depends on the type of mobile home tin can ones have more leaks and problems than most other types.

Looks nice except I wouldn’t want linoleum in my living room or short and uncomfortable office carpet in my bedroom.
Nice job 👍🏻
I'd be more worried about what little insulation there is
I remember trailer park boys 😢
Where can Palm Bay haul wholesales renovated in from ?
How pretty
Where did you buy the skirting at?
Keep the metal skirting!
Where are you located . I could use your assistance I'm located in Mississippi
Nice
Perhaps add a contrast color. Mono color is ok but white is not the best choice here.
And please take out that a/c unit. 😕😕
Type of people to paint over everything in the house. The sink, toilet, bathtub, roaches and spider webs
How does it look inside?
What are you doing about the wiring?
It's too much white on the outside. Would be better with some other color, and trim would look nicer in a contrasting tone.
All white made it look worse. Paint it two tone with the yellow.
This should have been demolished! It’s. Shame anyone has to live in these

How'd you clean the 30 pounds of rat Grease from the walls
