I was doing all of these exercises wrong and I've been working out for 15 yrs😮...great videos that are very informative
It would have been nice had Josh also mentioned on the bench press to be sure to contract the scapulae medially toward the midline of the back to stabilize the shoulders. This is in contra-distinction to extending the scapulae forward to reach up higher with the bar. Thank you for this wonderful, easily accessible exercises channel!

I will use 1/2 reps at the end though for barbell bench press. Instead of going to failure, I will go almost to failure and then finish with 1/2 reps to failure because i is a little safer when lifting alone

Dang didn’t know that you’re supposed to have the bar hit below your chest. I have always hit my chest in the middle which might explain my rotator cuffs hurting.

You silly, work on your mobility and a good technique you’ll be fine. If you injury yourself that genetics and progression. I bench 405 to my chest at 198lbs.
Keep your shoulders retracted, you won’t tear them.
