Thank You Dear Jill for the brilliant lesson. Wish You a happy week, greetings from Turkey.
Thanks a lot for this lesson Gill !
Dead funny : I guess it's quite similar to the Italian expression "morire dal ridere" which means "dying because of laughing too hard"
@@ib2505 It's the same in Spanish: "morirse de risa", "estar muertos/as de risa". Thanks for the lesson, Gill!
Teacher, gracias por sus videos! Regards
Gill day by day you are shining like a sun.
*You are the best teacher. Thank you so much 💕💕💕*
Thank you so much for teaching us English, Gill! You're amazing!

Thank you, Jill! You are such a lovely teacher!
Приятно было слышать урок от такого преподавателя. Всех благ Вам!
She's absolutely the best ever.
In German language you find todeslustig = dead funny. It was mentioned already in 1891 in Deutsches Wörterbuch by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm.
Interesting, I like learning new things! Greetings from Sweden.🇸🇪
Thank you, Jill, for teaching us these fun and useful slang words. They will definitely come in handy in casual conversations with native English speakers.
Best English teacher
Dear Jill, thank you for your brilliant lessons. I really enjoy them and especially your nice soft voice. It sounds like a beautiful melody.
Gill, you are so cute and so English: you give us an example of someone apologizing for being 5 minutes late. 🤣 I'm from Argentina, 5 minutes does not even count as "late". You need from 15 minutes on to apologize. It's called "the 15 minutes tolerance".. and, believe it or not, it's a formal thing for some jobs. Although nowadays, everyone keeps you informed via WhatsApp where they are and when exactly are arriving.
A strict teacher such as Gill giving a slang & informal words lesson is everyone's guilty pleasure, isn't it? ☺
Hi - I don't think of myself as strict - my aim is to give helpful examples of how English is used in day-to-day life :-)
You are so sweet, calm and collected.Well done !
I love you my dear teacher. God😊 bless you everyday.❤
Maestra que DIOS LE DE MUCHA VIDA 💛 PARA SEGUIRLA VIENDO! 🤗
You're my English's Grandma ❤
I didn't know about The majority of these words
Thank You So much
My Lovely Teacher ❤❤❤❤❤
As always send you much love from Indonessia 🇲🇨
Nice class early in the morning. Some of the expressions have similar equivalences into Spanish. I’ m skint: estoy pelado ( i have no money) or I ‘ m knackered : estoy muerto ( very exhausted), etc… 🇪🇸Thank you teacher.
Hello Mayca .
Excuse me for intruding .
I just wanted to ask you about Spanish language: is it simple to learn it , honestly 😊?
And what is the most difficult part in learning it?
Thank you
@@bahamansour3178 I think Spanish it's easy to learn in some way because the pronunciation it's standard (the pronunciation doesn't change depending on different words), and also you have only five vowel sounds. However, the grammar could be a little bit tough if you are an English speaker, because you have more tenses and you conjugate verbs (depending on the nouns).

Seems to me it is just like Arabic language which is so difficult.
Hawever , many people encouraged me to learn Spanish language. But bcz i traveled to Africa some years ago i learnt some French. Now i,m boosting what i had learnt ,thx to the youtube.
In all languages it is the grammer that's always comlicating and the difficulty varies of course from one language to another.
possibly English language remains the easiest among all .
Lastly , what is more difficult : Spanish language or Italian language?
And is there any similarity between both ?
Thank you
Its the same way in portuguese: estou liso (no money) and estou morta ( exausted) 😂
You are a brilliant teacher.
You have your own way of teaching that,s interesting. Wish you NOT to finish talking ❤

Dear Ma'am Gill,
This lesson on Slang and Informal words was quite interesting ! It's quite surprising to know that the word 'wicked'can also be used in a positive sense ! Though the word doesn't sound good and we are conditioned to believe that 'wicked' is bad.We often come across the word 'fancy' in the 18th century novels which literally means to imagine or to think. It was quite an old usage and was very much in vogue in the then times.
Thanks,Ma'am for coming up with new English lessons ! It's brilliant !
( Ma'am,kindly let me know if i have used the word 'brilliant' correctly ! I have tried to apply it while writing a sentence and that's how we learn something accurately !)
Dear Ma'am Gill,
I have a little confusion regarding the spellings and the meanings of the words 'Honor' and ' Honour' ! Do these two words bear the same meaning or they are used differently ?
Kindly guide and show me how they are used while writing in a sentence !
Thanks 😃
Honor and honour have the same meaning. Honor is USA English while honour is British English.
Thanks a lot, really interesting...I pay attention, because is the best professor in the World....👋🇵🇦
