Shopify store now open!

Brian with his awkward bucket again. I'm calling it the backwards unicorn 😂
🤣🤣🤣 that’s a good one Ray!🤣
W O W ! ! Absolutely beautiful agate. This the second of your videos I have come across. I will be sure to look for them purposefully from now on. You do a great job. Spectacular color in the rocks. Have a blessed day. Mac
Thank you! I appreciate the complement. Hopefully you subscribed, when you do you get notifications when we post a new video! Another will be uploaded soon!
Gorgeous rocks! We already have a "garden" where we put rocks that don't make it into the house, but if we lived out there, we'd have a whole yard full! So beautiful!
Thank you! Some of these rocks have made it onto the floors like tiles in peoples homes.😄 I think I’d like to do that, we have enough I believe.🤣
Incredibly impressive. And EPIC squirrel!
You two compliment each other so well, AND the agates are incredible! Blown away by this one.
Thank you Paul!🙌🏼 And we had only just begun!😄
You’re so lucky to have a awesome place to go hounding
Thank you! We are very lucky. It’s very close to where we live, and we have fee digs there on the AZ Rockhound Expedition Claims. We are booked for this season, and booking up for next starting November 1, 2024.
WoW!! 💙💎💜 Those bluish purple ones are sooo 🤩 beautiful!!!
Thank you! That was the coolest big vein of agate we had found at that point! This is when we figured out how to chase a vein.🤣
This was a truly epic adventure for us CZcams lurkers and the reveal was stunning!
There were too many OMG moments to pick out a favorite timestamp.
Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you! I feel we had a pretty epic day!!
Man, finding red agate blows my mind. Would totally be awesome to tag along with you guys
We do find amazing agates in our area! If ever your around camp Verde AZ e mail us at azrockhoundexpeditions@gmail.com and we can give you the details on our expeditions to our claims!
Awesome find. One looks like it had Gizmo trapped inside. haha
Thank you! I was just messing with that one today!🤣🙌🏼
You two are tough enough!
Thank you Mitt! 😄
PRECIOUS
Thank you!
Sounds like Bryan has been in deep thought again!🤣
Awesome agates!
Thank you!!
14:16 - I love that piece! Its so colorful!! Missed opp when he held his hand out and said 7-8” lmao. Thats what he/she said! 😂 Ya’ll just said it too early. I don’t really need to be that wet? Said the firefighter? 😅 I like your little “ooh ooo” sound. I do the same when I spot something pretty and Chris says, “uh oh” and runs away. 😅 Grab the poopy rock! lol
Nice video I sure miss Arizona I reside and rockhound the North Oregon Coast Rock On !!!
Thank you! Oregon is beautiful! We would love to Rockhound there someday!
@@AZRockhoundExpeditions I live in Tillamook County and we actualy get a lot of different stuff here very pretty Purple Cow agate opals jaspers carnelians and of course it's coastal so I traded yhe desert for it lol
@@justme-iu6ev Oregon is beautiful. We will make our way up there in the next year for sure!
Holy Moses! I was just at saddle mountain outside Phoenix, and out in the hills near flagstaff, but didn’t see anything near this amazing! Nice work!
Thanks! We have been lucky for sure! And have a great time, we never take ourselves seriously!😂 I’ve always wanted to go to saddle mountain!🤩
I had the best luck at Saddle mountain down in the flatlands near the power lines where the atvs run over everything all day long. Maybe nobody thinks to look there, but that’s where all my best pieces came from 😮
@@danfilbin7365 Oh yeah! I bet the wheels would kick up great stuff!!
When animals come up to you like that in the middle of the desert they know you have water and they are smarter than we would assume. and would like for you to share your water with them. The best gift you could give a wild animal in the desert that is in a drought, is water. They don't risk their lives to just say 'hi!' They know you have water! He was quite adorable though!
He was super cute stayed around and just ate his acorns in the tree. There are 3 springs in the area there so he was very fat and happy. He entertained us for about 10 minutes.🤣🙌🏼
NEVER give wild animals food or water. When they lose their fear if humans, trouble follows!
Ahhhh, all worth the hike ! What do you do with your finds? Cab tumble sell ?
Yes! We now have a Shopify store, and we also started doing live sales as well. Our Shopify store is az-rockhound-expeditions.myshopify.com we will usually announce the live sales. We can sell rough, slab, and polished specimens. Thanks for watching!!
You guys find the coolest seam agates, amazing stuff really. I find fire agate with the full spectrum of colors, even pink yet I'd rather find that material, fire agate is frustrating to cut lol, atleast the stuff from my spot is. Great video, thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you! I’d love to try fire agate, but I’ve heard it can be frustrating. At least these agates you guess and cut.😄
@@AZRockhoundExpeditions Imagine someone made a botroidal/bubbly mona lisa painting, then they dumped epoxy on thick, some of the epoxy is opaque, then they tell you to take a dremel and diamond bit and grind all the epoxy off without nicking the mona lisa even in the slightest bit, not even gonna bring up the polishing part of it, but that's cutting fire agate, atleast from my spot lol.
@@IveGotStones you’ve made me not even the slightest bit curious now.🤣🤣🤣
@@AZRockhoundExpeditions when it cools off if I find an easy cutting one I'll send you guys one and a couple to practice on first, that's if you guys have a way for people to send something, like a PO box. Worst case you could just tumble them. I'll send you guys a message on here late September October range.
@@IveGotStones that would be awesome! Thank you! We will make a video out of it, “first time polishing fire agate” 🤣 just e mail us at azrockhoundexpedition@gmail.com and we will connect. If you ever want to come out with us, you are welcome too!
I’m with Brian. Ich hasse Fliege! Flies are attracted to certain pheromones. I use peppermint body wash, oils, lotions, sprays. They hate the smell. They also hate basil, pine, rosemary, rue, lavender, eucalyptus, and bay leaves. So an oil mix of peppermint and lavender smells good to me but they hate it. I must have adopted “swoopy” from you. I use it too!
🤣 We did use every single one of those oils, but I’m telling you, those flies are champs! 🤣 I love swoopy!🤪
Keep this up and y’all gonna find a body someday!!
Jimmy Hoffa!🤣
How can I locate this location?
You can e mail us at azrockhoundexpeditions@gmail.com and we can talk about it more!👍🏼
I know everybody likes to keep their honey holes secret, but could you ever give the location of some of these places?
Most of the time we are South of Camp Verde Arizona. This area now sits on one of our claims. If you are interested we do take people out. You can e mail us at azrockhoundexpeditions@gmail.com for all the details!
Gorgeous agate!
Thank you! 🙌🏼
I'm a little late to the party but do you have GPS coordinates for the dig?
I don’t have the GPS Coordinates, but it’s on one of our claims. We do guide people out for a bucket fee if you are interested. You can email us at azrockhoundexpeditions@gmail.com for the details.
I HATE flys too ! Lol
🤣🤣🤣 Brian now has a salt gun for flies!
From Idaho would like to know about where you was
This was recorded in Arizona, South of Camp Verde. It’s where we live as well.
Where is this?
We are South of Camp Verde AZ. Early on I kept forgetting people probably would like to know our approximate location. Since November have acquired claims and this spot sits on one of them. We do guide people out for a bucket fee if you are interested. Our email is azrockhoundexpeditions@gmail.com
You have a bra on yeah? Agate nuggets, its like pieces of popcorn that fall out of your bra when you takenit off later, bu this time in your skivvies! lol. At 25:34 the squirrel is bouncing on a tree limb at the top. He is cute. The reveal - you found some GORGEOUS PRETTIES!
I had agates all over in me skivvies!🤣
Do sell any of your finds
Hi Clint! We haven't opened our Etsy store for selling yet, but we have sold some pieces outside of that. If you are interested in some of the specimens, send us an email at azrockhoundexpeditions@gmail.com with the episode number and time stamp. We can discuss further then. Hope you enjoy our videos too! 😊
Awesome.. flies suck lol
Lol! They really do! Brian got a salt gun for his birthday!🤣 he’s bringing on future trips to kill flies!🤣
I want to take my kids agate hunting
Try chisels !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Instead of just banging on the rock surface.
We do, but I like the challenge.🤣
If you had kept watching, we did break out the chisels, and the “rock surface” was basalt that was tightly holding the agate. No agates we’re harmed in the making of this video.
Get a Thermacell, and no bugs will bother you
We wear 100% deet and apply every hour and the gnats still get to us. Those bugs aren’t afraid of anything. I’m half tempted to get a bee keeper suit!🤣
@@AZRockhoundExpeditions I worked next to rice fields in Arkansas when I worked for the railroad. Those thermacell devices were new to me but kept 100% of the mosquitoes and bugs off of me. It uses a DEET soaked card that is heated and releases a vapor that engulfs the user. If it works in the deep south, I PROMISE you it'll work anywhere but suit yourself.
Sounds like it's worth trying! Thanks for the tip!! 😊
