But i loved his song 'Fairytale' and knew there was something special on that song, there was some deeper meaning behind it.
Now that i am 15 and speak english almost fluently, I understand his songs and love them even more because I actually understand them.

So one day I was just talking with my friend about the eurovision and old songs and while talking I thought: "hey, remember that one guy from Norway who won the eurovision...some girls I knew were obsessed with him :/ but that song he had wasn't bad...I sould check it out" and I'm glad I did... I found all these other cool songs by him and I love them. I realised how awesome he actually is. Good songs, funny videos, Great violin playing and composition and he's cute and comes across as very passionate and happy so it's admirable... He even does songs in Russian etc... Basically i'm kinda a fan now... Not obsessed: I don't do that stalker, obsession thing but yeah... Awesome songs and videos haha ^-^ Well Done!

7LeopardStar hey, I have kind of the same story about it but there are differences. one day about 3 mounths ago my mother started to hear some eurovision songs and at the beginig i told her "let it go, it's boring" and after a few minutes she played his song and my reaction was "hey, he's actually pretty good" so i went to the computer to see his name and i noted ot myself that his name sounds very similar to a character in "harry potter". after a mounth i thought about his songs? so i went on youtube and search his name like that harry potter chracter and kind of downloaded all the songs he has. the funny thing in the story is that i said to my mom "here's a singer i liked him by first hearing" (which is not a thing that ever happend to me) and then my mom said "actually, i played his song for you to hear about four years ago but you were busy being obssesd about an outher singer" when she that, my whole world was turning upside-down on me hahaha :)

The way I like to interpret it is "Yours" is Eurovision. So he was saying in 5 to 7 years I'll return to Eurovision which he has - 5 years after he wrote this song
