The big advantage to having your seats go above 200 degrees is that you will no longer need a vasectomy; just keep your oysters centered on the Porsche crest with the heat on, and it will cook your tadpoles like deep fried calamari. Granted, they were already swimming in circles, but this way is foolproof. That should be a $7k option!

Most of us start out loving Corvettes/vipers muscle cars etc but I just bought my first Porsche a 991.2 GT3 with a manual and yes all the HYPE is real Porsche except no substitute. For years I thought what's all the fuss about but owning several new Corvettes then switching over to the GT3 it really was a reality check on what a great sports car should be class, timeless elegance, build quality, resale value what's not to love

your original 911 woes were the reason i subbed to you years ago. thanks for doing another video on the new bucket, but honestly those little quirks are quite annoying and shouldn't exist. I had a brand new honda ridgeline that had several issues (see videos on my channel) and honda corporate told me to fuck off and sign a form saying i wouldn't bitch anymore, after owning 9 hondas, my family and i quickly sold off all hondas and would never buy another honda again. i even posted a quick blurb at work on the local bulletin board near the water fountain about my dissatisfaction with honda in which 1,800+ employees got to read and enjoy. at least porsche took care of you. cheers.

Our 911-50 Anniversary Model also has the squeaky driver seat. The Porsche tech rubbed some lube on it at the seam where the airbag is but it didn't really help. Also, the driver side window (possibly the entire door) is loose and jolts and squeaks over bumps. The passenger door and window are tight as a drum. Tech blamed it on window tint and lubed the rubber door seal. Didn't solve the issue. Such is life. I really like the new 992 and aim for the GTS. I take it you like to have 4wd in your wintry clime so the Carrara S 4 makes total sense. Thanks for the review!

$800/yr is a great rate for such a new car. Surprisingly, that’s also how much I was charged for my F355, but now all the big carriers want $2k+ for my 4C. I went with a smaller company which still wants $1500.

Nick, to fix the seat issues... lift the backrest handle up and stick a piece of fabric at the bottom of the handle slot (I use a cheap dollar store glove, and stick the finger of the glove in) and drop the handle on the fabric so that the handle pinches the fabric. Advise not to use too much fabric, use at your own risk. I have the same seat creek resolved by pre-tentioning the handle mechanism a bit.

    Another nice video Nick!
P.S. IMHO, looking at the rear, your 991 is nicer and more elegant than the new 992

Idk man I love his car but the 992 is potentially my most favorite design in decades.

Couldn't agree more. The new 922 rear is too round.

The 911 is and will always be the perfect sports car.

I'm so happy to see you happy Nick. I've been watching since your first videos your first 911; a car you worked so hard for only to have be unfixable. You were just so sad and it's like the world is finally right. Yeah you had the M4 which was cool and all, but a Porsche is a Porsche. Also, where the fuck does your boy kevin drive to have 40k on a car barely 2 years old?

I really think the 991.1 will be the one to have out of these new 911s. I absolutely love mine, and that N/A engine is missed in these new ones. The 992 may be flashy and faster, but I dont know, I am not sold on it and have no intention of trading in for a new one

Sports Exhaust is a MUST HAVE option. I don't car what Nick says.

I really like the spec of your C4S, especially the manual and the 18-way sport-tex seats. However, I know you hate it, but if I was buying one, I'd probably opt for a rwd GTS, for the extra power and discounted options. You really can't go wrong with any 911 model though.

$780 insurance for the whole year or 6 months??
Man, if it's for the whole year, I'm really getting ripped off. Who's your company?

Great video but I always think your driving position looks so high. Is this your preference? Or is it just that the seat doesn’t go any lower?

Great video, Nick. Have been your fan for a long time. I recently bought my first 911 (2018 C2S) and have the similar squeaking sound coming from the driver seat. Do you know of a way to fix it? I occasionally also hear some minor rattling from the passenger side (sounds like coming from the seat as as well). Jusr wondering if you happen to experience the same rattling in your C4S? Btw, say hi toTui for me , please!!!
