I just got back from Da Nang. I took a day trip to Hoi An, where I did an eco-cooking class and a river tour, similar to yours. I took my tour around sunset, and it was so beautiful. That boat ride was the highlight of my entire trip.

First time seeing your video make me fall in love with your channel, Van. Reminding my days when I live in HCMC for 8 months and Hanoi for 1 month. Please kindly make more videos about people in several provinces, including the tribes. What I love the most is the diversity of Vietnamese ethnic foods, wish you also can provide the tutorial on how to cook the food as well.

I cruised a local waterway in south Vietnam with family and we got a couple of these palm seed clusters to bring home for a treat. They are actually nipa palm seeds. Very good and fun to get and eat. Great video!

My fiancee, her son and I road on these on our way from Đà Nẵng to Hội An. So much fun! Our boat driver showed us tiny mud crabs and let the little guy catch some.

As a Mexican I would be tempted to add Tajin (powder chili) to the coconut che. I think the combo would be good. Like a cucumber and chili popsicle, it’s refreshing

I have never tried water coconut ever and just wonder how its taste compares to the young green coconut on land? which one is better? BTW, drinking Rượu Đế mixed with coconut water is as Dizzy as taking part in the Dragon boat dance as well. 😇
