I started seeing similarities to things like matrix and tron in this, with irl people getting trapped in a digital world with a "warden" of sorts, this film seems to give it an early internet style of paint
What i find a little heart breaking is that Ragatha said she was in a lot of pain while glitching but still called her back to apologize for gow bad her days been

caine is basically like a chaos god, like tzeench, only difference is his chaos is less, destructive and he has no evil intentions, he also can't help those that have gone abstract like kaufmo and the ones with the X on their doors because abstraction comes from their mental state, and caine can't affect their minds, he probably feels bad when people go abstract since he can't help them
You’ll note that the randomly appearing exit door that kaine made caused cosmo to abstract. It was actively his fault

Really hoping this one is good. I definitely agree there’s a lot of potential here but after certain other online series getting messy in later episodes I’m staying cool when it comes to being hopeful.
I feel like this pilot is kind of the mirror image of Helluva Boss’s pilot. Helluva started out with a really specific concept and then doesn’t really do all that much with it, instead focusing more on character drama, which is cool but if you don’t find it that investing there isn’t much to keep you going back. Digital Circus on the other hand has a very weird concept that needs more polishing in terms of execution in order to really find its footing.
All that aside I love how much animation has made a comeback on the platform. It’s not the same as it was back in the heydays of the 2000s but it’s still just as entertaining.

HB decided to focus on a story. There's drama, yes, but it's not pointless. HB's pilot was there to establish the characters. It's actively not canon anymore.

This pilot is especially great for me due a fantastic dream that I had 15 years ago which was my entire lifetime going by in an entirely different reality, with all my memories completely intact and has stuck with me for all this time! 🙂
Yeah, I’ve still not recovered from it, probably never will and I legitimately have all the memories spent there intact, so I fully remember everything still.

This is what happens when the Dark Carnival is late for Halloween. It's still horrifying and nightmarish of course, but it lacks that quaint charm of being overtly dark and creepy in favor of something resembling a... Saturday morning cartoon clown's existential dread. On acid.

If you want to watch a good series that's not too long there is a nine episode a bridge series called Helsing ultimate abridged by takahata 101 who is one of the founding members of team four Star. You know who they are You've referenced their jokes you know this is the shit so definitely would recommend that
