One of the popular upgrades for the X back in the day was an oil cooler. You just drill and tap two holes in the front of the case (on the kick side) and run lines to the cooler, usually located near the airbox with a little scoop duct forcing air through it. I forget the company that made them. That Supertrapp is nice too. I manage to find a new one in a box a few years ago.

Product idea: billet brackets that work better than the stock adjusting brackets for the OEM swingarm. They may also work on the 81/82 250R since it uses the same design. The adjusters are a pain and don't get very good purchase on the frame. Maybe with a swingarm bolt that is integrated into the brackets.
