      @@archieguy4657 The height of the Thor Omni is 12' 6". We had no problems getting through the tunnels. The Super C's built on the Freightliner chassis are taller than the Thor Omni. My dad made it through the tunnels with his Dutch Star Class A which is 13' 1" and he said it was scary. He had to drive over the center line to avoid scraping the awning on the side of the tunnel since the height on the sides of the tunnel are less than the middle due to the arch.

      Thanks for watching! We started RVing when our youngest was 1.5 and she's 4 now. She's gone on quite a few trips in those years. We did use a car seat for her. We usually buckled her into the couch because they don't fit well at the dinette tables unless you put the table down and our other kids liked to sit there and draw. I definitely recommend the car seat for that age. The seatbelts are fine for the older kids but the little ones can get out of them too easy!

    Did the solar fully charge the batteries each day after an night of heavy usage? Or did you need to power up the generator during the day to keep the batteries from being to depleted going into the next night?

    • @demartinirvsales
      @demartinirvsales  Před 2 lety

      I've taken the Wilderness Edition Omni on quite a few trips and as long as you have full sun it will completely charge your batteries even with heavy usage. If it's a very cloudy, overcast day or winter sun that's low in the sky - the solar system will help give the batteries some boost, but you will need to use your generator to recharge if you have heavy usage under those conditions.
