@@ganox14 I get the arguments for video games. But I also think if you're paying for a product you use everyday that makes you look good and feel good, then that has value, too. Whether it's $30 liquid foundation or some $15 beard oil or $20 acne cleanser and so on.
I think most ppl who can budget their money, probably choose what to splurge on while being frugal elsewhere. A woman might pay $30 for some skincare that works and be cheap with $5 mascara as a man might pay $60 for one game but then play freebies or buy games when on sale.
If you're not doing that, and you're buying all the most expensive, chances are money was never a concern in the first place 😅 if we could all be so lucky.
@@ganox14 Most $60 games are trash though and you'll discard quickly tbh. Some are truly amazing and will last weeks or months if not years, but the vast majority of them are mid. Indie games are where it is at rn tbh
@@mmwoodcockart you got a point there :) whatever makes you feel better I guess and yeah it’s totally valid to spend money on the things that make you feel good, at the end of the day thats why we work and well life is short so do the things you like.
Me as a guy I might not understand makeup and what determine its value, im simply stating the case of like the longevity of the product. Yeah you can argue games also get scratched and might get ruined, but as I mentioned whatever flows your boat ;)
Money is a issue for most people, (myself included) but I can buy a game every 6-10 months, where as make up is a more 1-3 monthly purchase
@@soulsofwar8985 I agree, lately IMO games and their quality has been declining, but we still get bangers like ZTOTK and so on and so forth, but like for example Skyrim is a super old game that has hour of replay-ability and its like 40-60 dlls unless you get it on discount/sale :)
This was me when I started looking into makeup, when I realized the prices for what the products actually were I turned around and ran away 😅😂
I want to see him try reading the names of products from NARS in the middle of a store
