Emperor tamarins are my absolute favourite primate species! They are just magical and so beautiful aswell. I love the tamarin group anyway, all 18 species, but emperor tamarins are something else. (Not literally they are still a primate lol)

aww the tiny one is adorable
So she's ~99% sure she's gonna have more than one kid. Knows that the father isn't gonna take care of two kids. Tells both dudes, you're the daddy. Ensures both kids are heathy and taken care of. Yet, she still does 99.9 percent of the parenting.

There's nothing even more impressive than the sound of David Attenborough's humble and Noble and very therapeutic voice talking about those clearly adorable moustache and beard front monkeys and it's amazing to see how the parental behaviour on them really works at the best of times especially when sadly trees have to be cut down for various reasons
