This is such a peaceful, tranquil and dignified scene. But I have to wonder if they have the manners and wherewithal to not urinate and defecate in the water.
I came looking for the Planet Earth BBC clip of the snow monkeys narrated by Attenborough, and I was about to click back until I watched the first 10 seconds and thought _"dayum u fine"_
The monkeys in the hot spring are thinking "All I need now is some sake."

Hot Spring Time Machine.
According to the latest BBC documentary 'Life' which features the same location, what happened is that there is a social order between monkeys that are allowe to joing the spa and monkeys that are not. There is about 60 degrees Cent beween in and out. Nothing changes. The same situation as in your local golf club. This documentary mentiones only the good side.
It's may look cute but I seen a nature documentary where if you're not part of the "elite" group you're not allowed in ,, some of them freeze to death with their young. If the camera went upwards into the background I'm sure you would have seen them on the mountain as the other video I watched showed and talked about
