If you liked QUADROPHENIA - try Bbaylon (1980) a drama setaround the London reggae soundsystem scene. Very similar East end characters, plenty of great music, drugs and fighting!
Babylon I thought was south London deptford area, I wouldn't say they are that similar, but yes they are both good films and Trevor Laird is good in both films
The beginning of the film tells u what happens at the end.
Michael Elphick from Boon. Charlie Slater was his brother in Eastenders. ( this comment was left early in the video,I see you did mention Michael’s name at the end ).
And Nick Cotton himself John Altman appears in the film too

Love this film the music is fantastic ".we ate the mods". I recommend watching the making of quadrophenia.

No Jimmy didn't because it ends where the film begins. If you look at the beginning you see jimmy dressed in the same clothes and stuff as he did at the end and you can see him walking baxk from the same cliff side aswell as it goes to jimmy on his scooter to a party as if its flashing back to show what happened 😎🤟
Saw this at pictures in 1979 ,however the rockers rode triumph motorcycles not jap bikes they weren't around then,its based on the who album , you need to watch Tommy if you like this to see Oliver Reed singing lol and Elton on massive boots
