Just to say you can put any good tape on awlgrip once its cured , we used a tesa plastic tape which gives a clean line . But it has to be cured ie several good drying days even when accelerater is used otherwise it can mat slightly behind the tape.

Great job on the freehand stripe. Boat is looking great. I was there last summer and fall with our trawler. Your boat is coming along. Was this last fall or has the weather already been great this spring?

We probably would have removed it if we were keeping the teak natural. Unfortunately, Stratego's teak is in rough shape. Since a lot really just needs to be replaced, we made the difficult decision to paint it. We painted the hull freehanding up to the teak. We will tape it off to finish painting the teak/topside.

Did you mask the teak on stern and bow or paint over. I removed mine on my old Transworld 41 then put back on after work was completed.
