I understand playing from the back... But so many teams are rubbish at it. They're must be dozens of goals scored from bungling it.
Goalkeepers and backs are not accustomed to dribbling and accurate passing, which is what's needed. Whereas forwards do that all the time. So apply a bit of pressure, and they panic. Goal!
Kick the ball up the field, for goodness sake!

Playing out from the back is a must for any modern team. What’s the alternative? If you hump it it’s coming straight back at you. You just need to be good enough. The Spurs problem is all over the pitch. Front players can’t play with backs to the goal, midfield are not counter pressing quickly enough and the defenders are getting caught high.
Bit playing out from the back has to happen if you’re a top team.

No, they're being punished for falling asleep and giving the ball away in stupid positions. Teams like City play a high line and don't face nearly the same type of problems

Dont Man City play from the back? They are the ones who changed the way others want to play because its part of their winning formula.

Yes but you have to have the right personnel and play intelligently. Look how deep and wide the City players are to make the pitch really big and how quickly they move the ball and run into space.
In comparison other teams are slow, predictable and moving the ball just yards away from the keeper

No, they are being punished for having no plan B. They have such a strong philosophy about how they play that they have given themselves no other options.
Their failure to address fundamentals and insistence on playing a high line even when not appropriate has been found out and the Premier League is ruthless once that happens.
Now Postecoglu has effectively said a load of his players aren't good enough, I'm sure morale is in the toilet.

Spurs are being punished for the referees mistakes during the Liverpool game at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Almost every game we are denied penalties,
