Let's say you have multiple campaigns running... Campaign 1 is Toothbrushes and Campaign 2 is Floss
I use the same "Thank You Page" for Form submits. Do I need two different Thank you pages or two different event snippets? Or both?
Or is Google smart enough to track these conversions across multiple campaigns

Unfortunately, I need to track when an email form submission that does not create a new page but just shows a thank you message. I've put the Click Ad Tag on the page, but it doesn't work. I think I need to adjust the snippet to match the ID of the button, but am not sure. You didn't cover this in your tutorial, and Google's support doesn't contain the information, so I am at a loss. Do you have any suggestions here? Thanks.

The best way is to use the Google Tag manager and Google Analytics for this.

May i ask you something: If i have 3,4 campaigns for 1 wevsite and business and the conversion of all of them is to lead to the "thank yo" page, do i have to install this conversion for ech campaign or it is enough to install it just once and it will appear for all?

You will just have to do this once if the value of each conversion is the same.

Thanks for sharing this valuable video. I have 1 question. I have followed all the steps, the codes are there on their respective pages, Google tag assistance is showing a green signal. But, when I troubleshoot my conversion tracking to verify, it's failing the task and giving me red light that my conversion tracking is not set and the website is not connected. Yes you can view each campaign and its conversion performance to identify the best performing campaign.

Thanks Stewart for the great training. I have a question concerning the EVENT SNIPET. It does not show up in my conversion setting for SUBMIT LEAD FORM. Instead I am asked to "Enter the URL of the page load you want to measure ". This option I don't see in your training. When I test my pages with Google Tag Assistance Legacy only the global Site Tag appears.
(Note: I have not created my campaign for Google Discovery yet and I have two SUBMIT Lead Form conversion settings for the English and German page I want to measure). Any idea how to create the EVENT SNIPET. I'm based in The UAE.

Very nice video! I have a question, we are a restaurant and our site has an order now button that takes them to a 3rd party site. Connected to our point of sales system. I cannot track a thank you page. Is there a way to track clicks on the order now button? What is the best move for me to track conversions? I cannot change how they order online. I can try to call them to see if they can add a tag but i dont think so. Should I just be tracking clicks to our site only? or maybe to the menu page that has the button? any info will help!

You can add the event as a click. Then track through the third party software depending what you are using.

You will first make sure they have setup the conversion correctly. So he just wants to track clicks on the add to cart? Can I ask why?

Thank you for your really nice tutorial. Please, I need help setting up Google Ads conversions correctly.
If I have 3 search campaigns in a Google Ads account, for example; Shoe Sale, Ebike Sale and Smartwatch Sale and then I create the 3 conversions; Purchase Shoes, Purchase Ebike and Purchase Smartwatch I will be forced to assign as conversion action for all campaigns, the entire Purchase category within which all 3 conversions are present.
Therefore, I will not be able to assign the Purchase Shoes conversion to the Shoe Sale campaign, the Ebike Purchase conversion to the Ebike Sale campaign and the Smartwatch Purchase conversion to the Smartwatch Sale campaign.
But is this correct? How will Google then optimize the campaigns? Users who buy ebikes are different from those who buy shoes and so on. Please, in these cases what is the best practice? Thank you very much.

You need to track that event activity on all your clients websites?
