As a minor spender it took me 2 years to max 3 legendaries. If you do the math in longterm and if you are a new player be happy if you max one legendary so pick wisely! Good informative video chris but let them know 2021 will might be the nail on the coffin for RoK if they dont give something to community to keep up!
Richard 5511 is a great investment for f2p. Use him for chaining barbarians, canyon, for events, open field (people will ignore a Richard most of the time) for 190 sculptures there's a lot of value to have.
Actually Richard 5511 is essential for F2P player because he helps in expedition, in Golden Kingdom (more so before than now) and many other events including Ceroli. There is no other Legendary that you can spend just 190 sculpture at 5511 and bring as much value in those events as Richard and help grow your account. And he's great in Kvk1 and KvK2 because everybody ignore him and go after Mina, Khan, Alex... Richard Alex Imo if you do not have time to barb chain. Suntzu or Aethefled has the Aoe to pair with your Alex and Richard although not as good as YSG but it's more affordable that way.

what about it? healing is useless in the vast majority of game modes, including ceruli where there's a specific role for it that anyone can do with any propper commander. yeah, richard is good in canyon; the most irrelevant of all game modes.
kvk 6 and equipments are t6 and t7 . when people recognize this they will all leave . i spent 2 years just to get to t5 as low spender . And then pay to win people just ran down everyone with 5 marches and all t7s . im feared for the future of this game . People will get tired of grinding so so much just to be food . Please understand f2p perspective of this game . Its not fun .

In my experience , for f2p, getting maxing a gold key commander purely from gold keys is going to take a very long time!! I liked what you said about waiting until they are near to maxing out then using gold heads to tip them over, I have done exactly that!
Hello Chisgule :) Some good advice in here, thank you for the video. I think it's worth mentioning that if someone is f2p, and they can spare some time towards barbarian chaining, I actually would recommend investing in RICHARD FIRST, then YSG. Aethelflaed+Richard is a great march for barbarian chaining, and then once YSG is expertised switch the march to Richard+YSG. The extra value gained from barbarian chaining in terms of gems, resources, materials and Tomes of Knowledge are the best way for a f2p to catch up with higher spenders and older players. Those extra gems can then be converted into gold heads, so the heads you lose investing in Richard will eventually be recovered :)

With the decline of Constantine and Leonidas, the rise of Scipio Prime and Nevsky... it would be good to have a game plan for a F2P/Low Spender that considers these new commanders and the timeline but which we should be working on certain commanders. Looking forward it!
Yeah, unless you're playing kvk2 twice, I think people who do not have time to chain barb (most of us 5 marches them to spend AP anyway), would be better off 5511 Richard, spin as much as you can on YSG but don't spend any universal on him, then max Alex first before going back to max YSG. Idea is YSG is still very useful but Alex should be maxed before YSG to use with Richard in Kvk2 or Kvk3.
How can you get 5 5 1 5 when the first 2 are maxed so you have the other 2 to do..if it's RANDOM on where the game itself places them on... how do you SKIP the 3rd one to remain a 1 ?????
Just come across this video and been play about 2-3 months and I’m struggling to get martel heads from gold keys can I use gold heads to get first couple skills done or would recommend another commander for garrison in kvk1
List is fine chus but.... gold key commander situation has changed. I opened 200 gold keys and got 4 charles martel commander sculptures. For 200 keys I'd expect a min of 10. Thing is now they added so many extra gathers on gold keys combat key commanders are harder to get. I get loads of Mulan and gathers for gold key, I don't want them but El CID, charles, the one that looks like saladin nowhere near completion after two years. Maybe would be different if I was in imperium kingdom. I'm low spender, have alex, GY, YSG and Richard maxed. I play everyday. I think you need to revise a little your train of thought but I understand your logic.
Would u still go for nebu or rather go for ramses? Im archer with maxed ysg and piling up golden heads for nebu, which comes in 3months. Im low spender with vip13 (62k vip left for 14)

Hey chisgule, you recommend that I go with Saladin, Attila/Takeda, and William. This is my plan Saladin, Khan, Takeda, and William. I'm plan to bring Saladin/William and Khan/Takeda together to field fight at later date. I currently use Saladin/Khan, then changed it to Saladin/Takeda when Takeda out. By the way, I'm in the end of KvK 2 and low spender, so I doesn't touch my YSG at all.
There should be a free to play way to get more legendary commanders. Wheel and MGE commanders should eventually become gold key commanders and the likelihood of getting these commanders should go up over time. Please pass on this feedback.

I’d argue you should prioritize investing in Constantine over Leo and Guan (I do think it’s worth getting Guan to 5111 then coming back after you have enough to get Constantine off card king and to 5511). That’s because Constantine has an irreplaceable buff for open field, and more so, canyon. Curious about your thoughts on Herold for an infantry focused low spender?
well. i'm basically doing what you're saying, got yi seong and alex from wheel, but working on alex first cuz alex is a much better commander in the open field at 5511 rather than yi seong, who's much effective, when expertised , also waiting on saladin from card king
After the new update that one can select commanders in the daily chest now I’m getting 1 commander sculpture from the 3 chest. The max I have get is 4 sculpture. Before the update I usually get 6 to 10 daily. Did they lower the sculptures chances?

In fact, Khan looks good for f2p who wants to keep hitting barbs contests, since Khan is all about raw damage.

nope, i got 7,7 and then 10 for YSG on my first 3 chests that dropped sculptures so i wouldnt say its nerfed
