ABOUT RISE OF KINGDOMS

I think Edward is a good commander to invest into because he deals a lot of skill damage but depending on who u pair him with

I max Richard early in the game. I have no regrets. He is still part of my line up for multiple events.
richard is the best pve tank
You don’t need him maxed for pve events tho, he’s very strong at 5511. Can’t see how the last two skills could possibly be worth 500 legendary sculps

When I started I invested on Edward, in kvk2 (where a lot of people still uses a lot of epics) his nuke is deadly, when the nuke activated the enemy marches just melted. For rally suck because Is easy to swarm
Fun facts is I've swarmed down Edward "banana helmet" with epic commanders and traded positive 😂 Lilith need to fix his skills
Just 1 year ago, I had 3 of the commanders you mentioned in D and D+ in my open field line up in Season of Conquest [Khan (expertised), Edward (5551), and Richard (5551)]. Fast forward to now, I managed to replace 2 of them and now working to replace the third. I replaced Richard (5551) with Guan Yu (5255) to go with my Alex (Expertised). I just recently replaced my expertised Khan with Nevsky (5553 so far going for full) and paired him with Saladin (5551). And Saladin himself replaced my ill-advised investment in Takeda (5551). Next I will work on Boudica Prime to replace Edward as pairing with my YSG (expertised). So much progress to fix my account and still needs work. And that's only the commanders. I also managed to get pretty good gear for my new marches.
Listen to this man's advise people. I was stubborn before and now feel like an idiot.
Great video for beginners and I say it answers a lot of questions in how to use universal sculptures 🍻. I made many mistakes and I wish I had this helpful video when I started years ago 💪.

Omni, wu zetian is kvk locked and not usable in kvk2 anymore. Just kvk3 onwards.
Some people say to invest some gold heads on Martel if we play infantry at kvk 1 because it is commander who is still played. I think it can be categorized as D
CM is good especially even in SOC if U use Martel Harold but don't use gold head on him

The Martel investment hurt. As an infantry main I used 114 universal sculptures on him for kvk 1.

Hey, love your content. However, I gotta point out that, expecting Martel to get to 5511 in 1y is a lil bit unrealistic at this time in the game. One of my accs is 1.5y and I had to use universals bcs it was stuck in 5311 lol
I managed to get him to 5524 so far only from gold keys and expedition shop but my account is 2.5 years old.
Omni, one thing regarding Moctezuma, I saw this report where someone paired him with Scipio and beat someone's XY/Nevsky march. Shocking, though the report was very partial given it was just a screenshot.

Save up 1400 gold heads and then do the meta march for that kvk.
If ALL you care about are your own trades, go with combos like Nevsky/Saladin, Attila/Takeda, Pakal/Harald, Guan/Scipio, and whatever the meta is at the time of your KvK since this will always change.

You are the most 'real' of the ROK channels so I don't understand why you have so few subscribers. The others have their merits however, when they talk about ftp or low spenders I feel that they still don't get it.

I’m confused by what you say about Richard- you say if you see a commander on this list don’t invest, but you said it’s good to have Richard at 5111? Is that because the chain barb farming isn’t really possible without expertise YSG?

Very good video for new players. A lot of people have made so many mistakes. But I believe better to put the sculptures from Richard to Martel. Martel is better than him open field 5511 unless you want to chain barbs then go Richard

@@redrighthand5206 yeah sorry that’s not how it works. As someone who still uses Richard in SOC occasionally I’m not afraid of Alex or Saladin in the slightest. If healing is as bad as you say reducing it actually helps Richard get better trades. In actuality healing is only bad in garrison. Richard is a way better tank and has far more useful debuffs than Charles.
@@atanvarno732 who do pair Richard with? Better trades lol? Richard can’t hit and won’t reduce Alex attacks. Only whales with best equips I see trading positive with Richard. Every other average player(f2p low spender) will fill their hospital. Martel still good in SOC Martel/Harald Martel/Scipio
@@redrighthand5206 I run Alex Richard. I don’t really care about reducing Alex’s damage. I usually target cavs and archers first. Trades well. The expertise slow is fantastic for getting hits in on a march. Charles has zero utility. His pairs with Scipio and Harald are mediocre at best. Charles simps make me so mad. He’s not good by any stretch of the imagination. I barely ever trade negative with Alex/Richard with mediocre equipment. It’s problem is that it is slow damage. It still trades quite well and has a lot of utility

My worst investment is probabbly Trajan, he is so hard to use properly and not good for low spender
YSS. Best investment I have done. No regrets. He helps me protect my city and builds in multiple events no matter what troops join.

I used over 300 universals on Richard in late 2020, I thought it was a good idea at the time.
Richard is fine and tanky but in SOC, u will fill your hospital

@Jordan Jones I only have purples expertises . My Constantine is 1 1 2 1. My YSS is 3 1 1 1. Mehmed 5 1 1 1. I don't know why but for some reason I always wreck ppl in the open field even tho I only have purples expertised

You can't use universal commander sculptures on Aethelflaed so nothing to worry about :)
Basically, all farmers, goldkeys, glass cannon, garrisons, integration, and almost all leadership commanders are not worth of spending universal gold sculptures.

Actually the worst commanders for f2p to invest in are... Hannibal and Minamoto! Because those two literally will take away your "f2p" label lmao (required money to get, otherwise no way to get them)

Ive only been playing like 5 months but richard is my favorite commander
He has that effect on people early on in the game. He is still my favourite after 2.5 years but I stopped using him in the open field. But I can't lie he is the only bad investment that I don't regret making. Plus I still use him for specific jobs like barb chaining for example.
To be fair in this video I think that our good friend Frederik is a bit underrated, he is quite a good secondary commander in the early game, excellent for barbarian forts and neutral objectives to be destroyed, while his active doesn't guarantee to always hit, the average damage for his active skill would be 1920, even more it can be buffed by one of the least used skills on the skill tree because it's "additional damage factor", so really easy to buff the damage. For early game to kvk 1 he can become a really great secondary commander and he can actually be the main commander for a secondary richard I/Charles martel, mainly because they lack the skill tree which is really important.
So yeah, overall at early game I would put him actually on the D- tier, up to kvk 1, after that I would put him on F+ cause of his utility (really good single objective damage and healing, overall nice for neutral objectives).
Now we are waiting for 23 the best commanders for f2p players!

Depends on what your using them for. Richard is more tanky but gives bad trades in field fights

Martel or Richard is an early game desicion, as early garrison Richard's going to give you more dead than martel and load your hospital in open field, later on, martel harald can work but theres no place for Richard, maybe just barb chaining, I dont know🤷🏻♂️
