I mean, that's how it was until the final release of this game; in all other games leading up to this one, you had NO idea what a boss was called. On occasion, the boss name was displayed in the pause menu or somewhere on another screen, but never usually while you fought it.
Man, this trailer... one of the things that ultimately pushed me to become a fan of the Kirby series was watching this multiple times. I can easily say in hindsight that it was a pretty good decision.
Its astonishing how different some stuff was from the end result. some textures were different the UI was definitely different Bosses had no names just wow...
I remember watching this trailer countless times on the wii, wanting the game. The memories of this trailer and the game itself just make me cry of nostalgia

I remember being taken to E3 2011 when I was almost 4, I barely even knew what Kirby was, but my brother was (and still is) a Kirby fan, I got into Kirby when I played Triple Deluxe.
It's so fun to read how happy people were at the announcement of this game. It's also neat to see how much changed from this trailer to the Final Game. This was the second Kirby Game i played, having all the different Moves for all the Copy abilities was a felt like a huge step up from Kirby's Adventure (My first Kirby Game) I have so many good memories 100%ing this game and can't wait to see what's in store come March with Forgotten Land. 😎👍
i'm glad i kept my wii and all the games; it's like having a stack of memories that i could always revisit if i wanted to again, and that if i ever feel nostalgic i can simply insert a disc, put a few batteries in a controller, and indulge myself in childhood bliss. Pretty amazing

There's a small cutscene difference in the final to this e3 trailer when Kirby is running with the cake in the final he's smiling while in this intro cutscene he has a blank stare.
For those of you wondering how Waddle Dee attacks, during the water part at 1:36, you can see him holding a spear. And he'll probably fly the same way helpers in KSS did... or he'll have to get someone to carry him :P I like that they give completely different characters for each player! It adds some nice variety! Even if I doubt it'll happen, it would be nice to play as the other characters even when playing in singleplayer!
I love kirby games! They're just so much fun and creative . They always come up with new ideas , though I agree with Magicdfox , I did kinda miss the old fashioned kirby games, but now they're back baby!!! :D
1:43 Massive overkill. Whispy Woods just can't catch a break. Looks great- my favorite experience in a Kirby game was the 2-player mode in Kirby Super Star, so I'm glad to see it come back. Here's hoping it's at least as challenging as KSS's later modes.
@HaggardKing You can see at 1:25 when meta knight is joining that his life icon is between 2 arrows, so i guess you can choose what character you want to be.
@SoLinkSmash ok, for everyone to get this clear: Nightmare in Dreamland and Super Star Ultra were remakes. The Amazing Mirror and maybe Squeak Squad were good as handhelds, but Wii is truly the return of Kirby.
Oh, the memories. Return to Dreamland was such a great game.

And the health bar is thinner and blue. Along with the player health bars.

I’m here after Kirby’s return to dream land deluxe got announced
It's so fun to read how happy people were at the announcement of this game. It's also neat to see how much changed from this trailer to the Final Game. I was so relieved and excited that this game wasn’t actually scrapped the first time it was officially announced.
@MarioMan248 I mean that Kirby 64's 3D effect involves the camera wrapping around the level to give the 2D environments a 3D feel to it.
You can tell this is the same Kirby that was meant to be on the Gamecube, as you can hear the theme from the Gamecube version at 1:26
