I definitely hate the Cicalfate+ texture, but OMG it saved my skin when I had a pretty bad reaction from using too much tret. I didn’t even know of it before, so I was using Cicaplast to no avail, until I went to see my derm and she introduced me to it and now I always have one at hand
great video! I use the Avene cleanser on dry skin and find it works great for me.
I love a couple items from Avene including their RentrinAL line (eyes included), sunscreen, masks, mist, and Tolerance line. I too love the Ghost Democracy oil and want to try their sunscreen and vitamin C.

french pharma especially avene is my go to with broken skin! i think its maybe most french skincare are made with hard water in mind. literally the only cleanser that never dried me out
Avène has a really gentle facial cleansing lotion. When the skin stings from even foam or oil cleanser, it helps my skin to stay clean without being stripped.

I’m with you on the gel moisturizers. I’ve tried the tatcha, and belief ones this week. I was putting layers of it on, still not my jam. I need my face to be shiny and sticky until it soaks in. Then I feel like I moisturized. Definitely for oily skin people. They were just samples so no money lost 🙂 I really wanted to try the klairs one, but I’m hesitant. If anyone with normal skin uses that I’d love to hear your thoughts

Woah! My dad just told me a story how one time when he was a kid his aunt used a roasted onion right after he broke his foot! And he said it was crazy but it worked! Not sure if it still is, but during that time onion was a popular remedy for wounds in Mexico. So cool to see it be a star ingredient 😳✨ hehehe
I just discovered the Nyx concealer and love it for the same reason! I just want a bit of coverage (only on parts of my face) over sunscreen. My only concern with using a brush is that the brush will buff off the sunscreen layer and compromise the spf protection. So I think tapping the the serum concealer with gently with my finger may disturb my sunscreen layer the least.
I've been obSESSED with isntree's onion cream! Im glad it made an impression on you as well! Calming and brightening at the same time, and just a gorgeous texture! I dont use it as a standalone moisturizer either, I layer it under something more occlusive like my holy grail vaseline advanced repair fragrance free lotion, and its not too heavy but plumps my skin up gorgeously!
Did you see improvement on your dark spots or acne marks?
Can u mix with active ingredient like aha bha?
The MUFE HD Skin foundation is weightless. Looks undetectable on top of chemical sunscreen, just fyi. A lot of days I just use concealer (and liquid blush) and then buff on a bit of powder foundation on top (Jcat Aquasurance powder fndtn) and some contour powder/mattifying powder on tzone, and that looks really good and feels weightless as well.
If im in a rush, i just mix foundation into my sunscreen, rub it in my hands, and apply that mixture as my second layer of sunscreen. Then i use a brush to stipple away any unneven ness, and add some cream products with the same brush, brow mascara, a shadow crayon, mascara and an easy lip product and im out. That takes like 3 minutes 🙂

Avene Xeracalm AD cream and oil cleanser is my HG for sensitive skin. It's for eczema but I love the texture and it's so gentle and perfect. I use it all over my body and face, it's the best! My sister has eczema and she loves the cream and the balm. I love that stuff! So glad to see you enjoyed it too! Try the cream next winter if you get a chance.
Have you tried the LA Roche posay hydrating gentle cleanser? That's my perfect milk cleanser, it doesn't leave any residue.
Would you recommend the xeracalm for dehydrated skin? My skin is like Kelly’s more dehydrated than classically dry. I’ve been looking for a new moisturizer
@@nataliaj1299 yes I have dehydrated skin too. I use a toner and essence and Avene fancy-water-in-a-can as Kelly calls it, and that hydrates my skin super well, then the xeracalm ad locks it all in place
May I know what shade do you use for the nyx coz im about the same shade as you but Im not sure which to get >

Your review on the oilier products borderline make me want to try them but everytime I try a product heavier on oily ingredients I break out, I feel like I have to wash my face, it irritates my eyes a ton, if its daytime it makes my makeup fade faster.. just cons all the way.
I can't use straight up vitamin c but I just bought the skin and lab vita c serum and it seems to be going well I'll update when I have used it longer it's like a blend of good ingredients and I think stable vita c in it I been eyeing here eunni and Soo beauty talk about it alot so I saw it on sale bought it so far so good. RNW renew essence has been like a favorite this month I used the Scinic essence usually and replaced it with the RNW renew essence and I think I love it more. The fudemental oil drop has been a favorite and I'm almost finished need to order another one , repurchased langiege cream skin used it up repurchase it was one I changed my mind on when I first got it I didn't like it but idk I try it again like a month later couldn't put it down maybe I used to much at first or my skin was going threw it and it was another product issue but love it now and of course Dr C kombucha essence I'm in need to repurchase it's almost gone. Then I tried the PC omgea serum mini I ordered 2 to try it out when I got free ship and got 2 mini ones for 11$ now I gotta order the full size I still have 1 mini left. The summer Friday peptide c eye cream has been another fav it doesn't bother me don't think it has straight c in it so I haven't had adverse reaction and been loving it makes my eye look bright and nice. RNW micellar water another favorite this month I been using in the am and splashing water on my face it says u can leave it on , it does have good ingredients and bifada glactomysies and stuff in it like an essence but still mostly just splash water over it and I have loved it and not been using a face wash in the morning.
I also recently started the Skin&Lab and love it so far! I used pure ascorbic acid for several months with no trouble, then I tried the Maelove version and it irritated my skin and then I found I couldn't even go back to the one I was using before without experiencing irritation! Bummer. So I was off Vit C for a while before deciding to try the Skin&Lab one. So far so good!
@@johnmichaelarnaud That's sucks I know it's great the pure version and that sucks that the Mae love did that to you and now u can't use the pure version at all. My skin got super sensitive over the past few years I got the timeless but could only us it like 2 days a week at the most and it still burned and tingled I though about trying their new 10 % but idk if it even worth my money to try sense everyone has bother me and I'm really happy with skin and lab so far too I still think it will have the bennifits of the others it may just take longer and it has so many other good ingredients I like that's in it too so that is a plus... And it's a pretty good price. Sorry I edited this my phone likes to change my words lol like know instead of now 😂

Avene cicalfate has saved my face while my eczema was in a flare up because of allergies but I will say I do notice a few more blackheads with it but I’d rather deal with blackheads than eczema.
Have you ever tried the xeracalm ad line from Avene? My sister loves it for her eczema skin, and I love it just for dry sensitive skin. It has a nice consistency as well. I love the cream and the oil cleanser

I'd say it does but nothing more than any other oils I use and definitely not greasy! I always mix my oil with Stratia Liquid Gold.
I can use Avene oil as my first step to take out waterproof sunscreen without a problem

I think it would be! I find the longevity to be really good, it doesn't slip and slide or break up over the day!
Can I use avené cicalfate+ cream after Paula choice's 2% bha liquid toner? Are they suitable with each other?!
I use it with Tretinoin so it should be okay with Salicylic Acid

I know it's probably not the best idea but I haven't wore a mask since they lifted the mask mandate, I just can't do it besides my skin I can't breath it gives me so much anxiety I hyperventilate but then again I don't go go go I barely leave my house except the grocery store I went out to dinner 3 times this month but that's about it. Every time I go out in the world I get super emotional with everytime with all the stuff going on besides covid price inflation,war gas like 4.29 a gallon and I always feel like I'm in a zombie apocalypse serves empty what their is people are going in and buying multiple cart fulls of anything they can get their hands on then u got feeling like you may be murdered everytime u leave ur home with all the evil going on in the world. That's just my struggles I know it may be TMI .sorry 😔
@Trinity M well I don't go out of my house much and my mother and father have had cancer and are compromised themselves so I'm super careful so it's not people like me so don't blame me when I leave my house like 2 times a month. I also have asthma and anxiety that's why I don't leave much either so thanks for your blame but go blame the people that go out everyday for random reasons and stand on top of people don't use hand sanitizer and don't give anyone their space . Thanks
