Who do you agree with more?
Jack has a wayyy better ranking
Both very disappointing. Friede only 5th/6th place is almost a crime.
I understand your reasoning regarding NK but I still think that he's #2 behind Gael despite the awful phase 1
I'm never gonna forget my first win against the demon princes because I ran out of estus right as the second phase hit about 3/4th health and had all but given up on the attempt but somehow managed to do the rest of the fight entirely hitless, it was by far the best feeling I've gotten after clearing a boss
I swear that's always the way it goes 😂 you basically give up from trying and next minute you've beaten the boss haha
Same here
I dont think Dragonslayer Armour is a throwaway, hes at the top of in my opinion one of the best areas in the game, it has a great epic theme, the butterflies are intimidating, and he himself is a badass armour set who jumps at you and kicks your ass, absolutely awesome fight
Yeah he’s awesome, by throwaway I just meant there isn’t much lore surrounding him and he’s just kinda there
I also think friede is #2 of this game, its such a climactic fight that is difficult but to me never felt unfair. I love it
Demon Prince at #1 is insane. That boss was honestly towards the bottom of my list on first playthrough. He has since moved up to around middle of the pack, but #1 actually baffles me.
Nameless King not #1 gets me more lmao
Exactly what I was thinking
@@duelz9366 Why would Nameless King ever be #1 when he's in the same game as Gael? Same type of fight, and Gael is better.
Also I don't get why there would be anything controversial about Demon Prince's placement. Unless you focus fire 1 guy and don't respect the "only attack the aggressive one" rule, which is a pretty obvious rule considering the one you should be attacking is literally glowing red. The second guy will only throw extremely well telegraphed attacks from afar.
Demon Prince Phase 2 is very good and fun.
Demon twerps phase 1 can go fuuuuck itself though.
@@tyranidswarmlord9722 As far as ganks fight go its a good phase 1. Still a gank fight though so thats a no at number 1 from me lmao.
My Ranking of the Dark Souls III Bosses from Worst to Best:
25)Deacons of the Deep
24)Crystal Sage
23)Curse-Rotted Greatwood
22)High Lord Wolnir
21)Halflight, Spear of the Church
20)Champion's Gravetender and Gravetender Greatwolf Fight

15)Aldrich, Devourer of Gods
14)Oceiros, the Comsumed King
13)Dancer of the Boreal Valley
12)Iudex Gundyr
11)Dragonslayer Armour
10)Abyss Watchers
9)Demon Prince
8)Champion Gundyr
7)Pontiff Sulyvahn
6)Lothric and Lorian, Twin Princes
5)Sister Friede and Father Ariandel
4)Soul of Cinder
3)Darkeater Midir
2)Nameless King
1)Slave Knight Gael
Wyvern above deacons?
Despite you just running around to get to it, I was more annoyed by the deacons than by the wyvern.
Through all of your rankings I have never failed to thoroughly enjoy your commentary and presentation while abhorring your opinions
I actually think Pontiff and Friede's influence was reversed between each other. Friede's desire to snuff out fire is what made Sulyvahn leave the Painted World to find a new flame to cleanse the frigid rot, only to end up corrupted by the flame he sought after. That interpretation would TECHNICALLY make Sister Friede the overarching true villain of the entire game, as she would've been the one who unleashed this evil man onto the world.
Finally. Someone one who sees Demon Prince for the masterpiece that it is. One point you guys missed tho was the audio. A huge part for me is the BLOODCURDLING scream the demons let out when they are switching agro or when it goes into second phase. Even my dad who is an avid dark souls and elden ring player thinks that THIS is how you do a demon/monster fight. with all the badass terrifying elements it has
Thank you so much for this series on some of my favorite games ever. Can't wait to see what you will do next! (Perhaps the remaining maps of the soulsborne games tier lists? Or something entirely unrelated like pokemon lol)
We've got a bit of everything planned at the moment, Jedi Fallen Order is what's coming this Wednesday which is quite similar to Dark Souls so you might enjoy that-Alex
Personally I don’t think DS3 is a good place to start because it makes the earlier games feel very clunky and hard to go back to in comparison. Also I think the reason Gundyr has a dramatic phase 2 is because DS2 had a lot of guy in armor fights while DS1 and Bloodborne had more monsters. So why not have the perfect answer and have an armored guy turn into a monster
I really appreciate that the Dragonslayer Armor's weapon is in Elden Ring as the Executioner's Axe. I main that weapon and just got it to +25.
I actually quite like Wolnir, I found the sheer awesomeness and spectacle of the fight really carried it, I personally really freaking like spectacle fights, so Wolnir was an automatic great for me, even if mechanically he isn't all that interesting, and yes, holy cow his sword looks awesome.
Same with Yhorm, I love his spectacle as well.
Yhorm has probably the best boss theme in the game imo, definitely adds to his coolness
-Alex
Yes! Some love for the demon princes!
This is my personal ranking
25: Halflight (It’s an NPC gank fight. The online variant isn’t much better unless your opponent is on your skill level)
24: Ancient Wyvern (Man Serpents in DS3 fucking suck)
23: Champion’s Gravetender (If it was just the great wolf it would have been way better)
22: Crystal Sage (Boring and annoying magic spam. I’m colorblind so I can’t even tell which one is the right one lmao)
21: Old Demon King (Bad Hitboxes stupidly quick attacks and shitty area denial)
20: Curse Rotted Greatwood (The tree with the comically large hand hitbox)
19: Deacons of the Deep (Not difficult just boring)
18: High Lord Wolnir (The fight is meh but the goofy skeleton argument is good enough for me)
17: Yhorm the Giant (Way too simplistic. He has like 4 moves)
16: Aldrich Devourer of Gods (Arrow and Magic spam. Fun…)
15: Vordt of the Boreal Valley (Fun boss but a bit too easy)
14: Iudex Gundyr (Best starter boss in souls hands down)
13: Dancer of the Boreal Valley (The tells are a bit weird at first but it’s still a great fight)
12: Oceiros the Consumed King (The charge attack has no tell. Other than that he’s a cool and memorable fight)
11: Abyss Watchers: (The phase 2 cutscene is so spectacular. These guys deserved more HP)
10: Sister Friede and Father Ariandel (I know people think it’s a great boss. I just find the constant frost magic and black flames annoying tbh)
9: Champion Gundyr (Random AI loops hold this fight back)
8: Dragonslayer Armor (Underrated Banger of a boss. His move set is kinda limited though)
7: Twin Princes (Oh god why is he teleporting everywhere?)
6: Soul of Cinder (The callback to Gwyn is great. Hate that spear form though)
5: Pontiff Sulyvahn (Amazing lore and a good fast paced fight to boot)
4: Demon Prince (best multi boss fight in the game and maybe the whole series. The scale of the attacks are of epic proportions)
3: Nameless King (A high stakes battle requiring little to no mistakes. I know Phase 1 kinda sucks. Just play unlocked)
2: Darkeater Midir (Health bar is a bit big for my liking. Other than that it’s perfect)
1: Slave Knight Gael (An amazing conclusion to the best trilogy I’ve ever seen. Move set is pure eye candy and keeps you engaged the whole time)
Not sure what you meant about no pillars when fighting Lothric and Lorian. Hiding behind one of the many pillars is how I avoided the magic attacks.
fr? i swear it they just break when hit
good tip tho!
I'm a bit miffed that you put Nameless King so incredibly low, as he's one of my favorite bosses. He's like an M-rated version of the final Demise boss fight from Zelda: Skyward Sword. However, I do appreciate that you understand Demon Prince and Gale belong in your top three best bosses in Dark Souls 3. Here's my top 10.
1. Demon Prince
2. Gael
3. Midir
4. Nameless King
5. Sister Friede and Father Ariandel
6. Twin Princes
7. Dancer of the Boreal Valley
8. Dragonslayer Armor
9. Oceiros, the Consumed King
10. Champion Gundyr
Yeah the nameless king phase is one of the best in the series and the king of storms I feel gets heavily overstated in how much people dislike it. You’re obviously not meant to lock on and once you do that it gives a pretty clear tell for nearly every attack and I even locked on my first playthrough because I assumed at the time it would be better to do so for every boss and never had any camera issues that everyone else has even relighting the boss. Demon prince is a great boss but most people find gael and midir so great they tend to forget how it’s one of the best and it’s honestly kind of sad.
My top ten would go
1.gael
2.twin princes
3.midir
4.nameless king
5.pontiff sullyvahn
6.demon prince
7.champion gundyr
8.soul of cinder
9.friede
10.dancer
Im so glad u did pay attention to the abyss watchers, i enjoyed so much killing them for the first time. actually theyre one of the best bosses in my opinion
250TH SUB
I find the Sage difficult too. His damage output is absolutely unreal, and his clones are very annoying, even if they do die in one hit.
33:10 you forgot to mention this important bit: he was originally gonna be the final boss, which is why his lore is so tightly tied to the lords of cinder. He was gonna be in an area similar to the champion gundyr area
Man feel for a spectacular fight feel dancer was done dirty in this ranking. Especially when you think about major negative to a fight.
For one the arena is actually capable of burning meaning her fight will slowly burn the whole place.
A point possible against her is she is to fair, the fight against the abyss watchers can feel like an rng hack should all three walkers (if you can't do enough damage) all decide you are the target of their hate can easily lead to frustrating antics. Dancer can't really trump card without a few bits of knowledge.
The third bit about her is in fact her rythm as a dancer her rythm is almost hypnotic most bosses feel like a battle while hers feels like well a dance one where she can grab you than impale you,. But she lets near her booty so it's fair play. A friend pointed out that unlike many bosses in dark souls three who have three attack combos or rythem where with clever positioning and such you can time their attacks with three dodges or so or seconds. But dancer is able to change it up with her rythem. Her theme also kicks if not as epic. (Low key if her sword was frost and magic instead fire her weapons would be super cool to vs generic).
Don't get me wrong pontiff and a few other rightfully deserve a higher ranking but of all the fights dancer is one I always look forward to it. Though I could just have a thing for tall women who knows how much that plays. Friede is overated to be honest as she really isn't that great lore wise or strong as you can reliable trade or outpace her by being smart depending on weapon.
The Champion's Gravetender and Gravetender Wolf sometimes make me wish we had a boss fight against both Artorias and Sif, how amazing would that fight be? Maybe they would be separated for first half and you would need to get their health down to 0, which would trigger the second half. Artorias riding on the back of Sif like Nameless King & King of the Storm. It'd probably one of the most difficult fights done right, but I think that'd be awesome. Eh, maybe Dark Souls 4 might have it, if that ever happens.
My ranking:
25. Spear of the Church
24. Gravetenders Greatwolf
23. Oceiros, the consumed king
22. High Lord Wolnir
21. Ancient Wyvern
20. Crystal Sage
19. Deacons of the Deep
18. Yhorm the Giant
17. Iudex Gundyr
16. Curse-Rotted Greatwood
15. Aldrich, Devourer of Gods
14. Old Demon King
13. Vordt of the Boreal Valley
12. Dragonslayer Armour
11. Pontiff Sulyvahn
10. Darkeater Midir (hot take I know)
9. Twin Princes
8. Abyss Watchers
7. Dancer of the Boreal Valley
6. Nameless King
5. Sister Friede
4. Soul of Cinder
3. Demon Prince
2. Champion Gundyr
1. Slave Knight Gael
Back here after getting the plat trophy for this game (I did it mostly offline and it really wrinkled my balls)
Nothing really to contribute boss ranking wise but I thought I'd maybe shed some light on the BTS of the Oceiros fight (unless Jack already had researched this within the year this video came out and this is just pointless but I'll do it anyway.) Ocelotte is Oceiros' child, and as he was "born of dragons," he was a crossbreed and could turn invisible like Priscilla. But that actually wasn't supposed to be the original intention. Oceiros is cradling nothing in phase 1 because Ocelotte was actually supposed to be visible during the fight. From Soft intended to have Ocelotte be killed by Oceiros during his phase transition by slamming him into the ground without even thinking about it to show how much he has lost his mind, but they would have had to deal with SEVERAL censorship laws overseas because, well, no one wants to see a baby get flattened. It was eventually reworked into the lore that Ocelotte had the ability to turn invisible and Oceiros was holding him the whole time but just didn't realize it. It's why you still hear the annoying ass baby crying in phase 1 and why it stops in phase 2
Woah thats actually really interesting, never knew that. Makes more sense now though, I always thought he was just schizo and Ocelot was gone or something.
-Alex
also props on plat, I can’t be fucked to grind the darkmoon ear tokens or whatever they’re called offline
-Alex
I personally really like the deacons of the deep and crystal sage. They're easy but I still find a lot of fun to be had with both of them. Conversely i'm not super big on Gael. He's not a bad boss by any means, he has a neat moveset and a lot of spectacle but his fight goes on way too long for what it is to me, and not in the fun way like Midir. Great video though!
Alex here, I admit I’m pretty partial to spectacle. If a boss has multiple phases, cool music, and glowy moves I pretty much am guaranteed to like it more than random smaller bosses. There are exceptions to this rule of course, like Yhorm who technically fits all 3 of those criteria but is still kind of a dud. Generally holds strong though
Oceiros looks like the son of Seath the Scaless.
16:35 he was also corrupted by the abyss, as shown by his name. The consumed are those creatures outside of his boss arena, the ones that look like black snakes
The demon prince is my favorite boss in the series, I feel like it’s so underrated, so I’m super glad to see it represented as the #1 pick here. The entrance to the fight, the amazing duo battle, and the climactic finish against the demon prince is perfect.
One thing I will say about Halflight: his boss theme is an underrated banger
Not sure if intentional or bad luck but I was doing the Abyss Watchers fight and was surprised that through my several deaths/fights with a secondary character+build I was using, and the red-eyed one actually locked onto me almost the entire time in the first phase. That character was at 99 hollowing so I wonder if that was connected to fighting abyss lore and intentional but can't say for sure.
Why are the demon princes so high?I mean, they're good,I would've expected them at #5-#6.
But definetly not on #1!
But I mostly agree on your rankings.
just like there is gold pine resin for the Taurus demon in DS1, on the top floor in the chamber before the crystal sages there is magic resistance boosting bug bite items. they are on the same level as the sorcery teacher
the crystal sages are far too easy to ever need that tho
I have a question do you have a Xbox One
I can make the fight fair in the Church because normally I'm a Dragonslayer Armor however I don't really want to gank at all
Controversial choice of demon price. I enjoy the fight but I never struggled with this boss which is why I wouldn't rank him as high as Gael, Midir or Friede (who killed me more than any other boss). Challenge isn't everything but is a factor.
Excellent 😂😊😊
My rank:
25) Wolnir
24) Wyvern
23) Halflight
22) Crystal Sage
21) Greatwood
20) Gravetender & Greatwolf

18) Old Demon King
17) Vordt
16) Iudex
15) Aldrich
14) Oceiros
13) Yhorm

11) Dragonslayer Armor
10) Friede & Ariendal
9) Nameless King
8) Dancer
7) Abyss Watchers
6) Twin Princes
5) Demon Prince
4) Pontiff
3) Champion Gundyr
2) Soul of Cinder
1) Gael
Completely agree with your #1 pick. Demon princes are absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly balanced gank fight. Meteor attack is *amazing.* Just an all around great boss. Everyone says it's overshadowed by Midir and Gael, but in my opinion all three of them are outstanding. Personally my favourite DS3 boss is the Dancer, but Demon Princes are a close second.
Abyss watchers were done dirty 😭
Fun fact: My opinion on midir has changed the most out of possibly any boss in any game. First run of the dlc, he didnt even crack my top 30 Souls bosses (though i did acknowledge it was the best dragon fight). Second playthrough, he got moved to the top 10. Third, he got moved to the top 5.
Currently he's sitting at #1 for me among Souls bosses, #2 counting all of their games (only beaten out by orphan of kos)
I found yhorm to be better than deacons imo. The fight whilst very easy was fun imo. And the siegward cutscene tops it off
My ranking:
1| Slave Knight Gael
2| Sister Friede/Father Ariandel and Friede/Blackflame Friede
3| Darkeater Midir

7| Lothric, Younger Prince & Lorian, Elder Prince
8| Abyss Watchers
9| Iudex Gundyr
10| Pontiff Sulyvahn
11| Champion Gundyr
12| Dragonslayer Armour
13| Vordt of the Boreal Valley
14| Demon in Pain & Demon from Below/Demon Prince
15| Aldrich, Devourer of Gods

24| Halflight, Spear of the Church
25| Ancient Wyvern
I'm aware you won't agree with me on the Demon Prince but I just don't get why they're so well liked.
The way the two demons interact with each other in the first phase, when they're both active, is really confusing and i'd say really bad, since you can't separate them, you just need to run away until one of them becomes passive, which in my opinion, isn't as fun as using the arena to divide Ornstein & Smough and get a few hits.
Fortunately, for most of the fight, one is active and the other is passive, which is a nice design choice but it also gets repetitive when you consider they have like the same moveset and 3 attacks each and they have way more health than they should have considering the Demon Prince has a LOT of health and he receives like half of the damage with a hit. It just becomes a slog, especially for my SL1 run, to the point that they just feel unfun to me.
The demon prince is generally a good boss, but I don't like how tanky he is and as i said earlier, i don't like how little damage he receives.
Either you decrease the Demons health in the first phase (Which i think is the best way this fight could be fixed) or the Demon Prince.
In my opinion, this is a high C/Really low B Tier fight, i wish i liked it as much as you guys!
Crystal Sage kicks my ass too, he's a dps test and I'm usually not even raising my dps by this point of the game
I would respectfully put the dancer higher just based on the soundtrack and the atmosphere alone. Also the nameless king is hard AF!!!!!! I have never been able to solo him, I suck.
I wouldn't personally rank demon prince at 1, but I'm happy to see demon prince get some love. I think they're a contender for best duo fight in the series.
Midir is the only boss I never managed to master. His attacks are frankly way too chaotic, hes incredibly fast for a giant ass dragon and some moves seem to go on forever.
Not sure why the demon twerps are at #1.
The Demon Prince aka Phase 2 is good maybe Top 5-ish i agree, but the demon twerps' attacks clipping through each other to hit you in Phase 1 is just grade S bullshit especially if fought in SL1.
Seeing Demon Prince at number 1 was weird for me but respect
My Ranking:
1. Slave Knight Gael
2. Demon Prince
3. Sister Friede
4. Darkeater Midir
5. Nameless King
6. Soul Of Cinder
7. Dancer Of The Boreal Valley
8. Twin Princes
9. Pontiff Sulyvahn
10. Champion Gundyr
11. Abyss Watchers
12. Dragonslayer Armour
13. Yhorm The Giant
14. Vordt Of The Boreal Valley
15. Iudex Gundyr
16. Old Demon King
17. Oceiros, The Consumed King
18. Aldrich, Devourer Of Gods
19. Deacons Of The Deep
20. Curse-Rotted Greatwood
21. Crystal Sage
22. Highlord Wolnir
23. Gravetender And Greatwolf
24. Halflight, Spear Of The Church
25. Ancient Wyvern
I don't know why but Aldrich was the toughest for me, I could not beat him for FOREVER! even quit the game for a few months... Cham Gundyr was amaing, and of course the Soul is GOAT. SKG is so fun too!
Demon Prince is a great fight but it should not be 1. Gael completely outclasses. Also I think nameless king is too low but otherwise not a bad list
Imma need that sekiro boss ranking!! (Best from soft game)
Alex here, hate to say it but neither Jack nor I liked Sekiro actually. It just wasn't for us. Just for you I can give my rough boss ranking though (I beat the entire game except I rage quit at Sword Saint Isshin and I didn't know about the demon of hate until after I stopped playing)
1. Guardian Ape
2. Genichiro
3. Corrupted Monk
4. Gyobou Masataka
5. Lady Butterfy
6. Sword Saint Isshin
7. Lady Butterfly
8. Divine Dragon
9. Folding Screen Monkeys
10. The Owl
11. All the hundred gazillion unmemorable mini bosses
I haven't played the game since the week after launch where I played a lot of it, so I'm going off of distant memory. Part of the problem is I'm not nearly as good at Sekiro as I am Dark Souls, and Jack and I don't like to cover a game if we don't feel we're experts at it since it would only serve to offend fans of the game if we didn't do it justice, which I don't think we really could.
@@Cytonox fair enough!! Appreciate the answer. Sad that you quit the game on my favorite boss of all time but it is what it is! Keep up the great content
@@nooodlelegs He's a cool boss undeniably but I found his large health pool to be a bit gratuitous and after dying to him for like a whole afternoon without making much progress I just gave up. I think Jack made it like halfway through the game or so before coming to the same conclusion (around the guardian ape I think)-Alex
@@Cytonox I can definitely relate. In my first playthrough of Sekiro I gave up when I got to Genechiro in the castle. I had beaten all the souls games up to that point many times, but it was the only fight where I died well over 30 times and felt like it was just straight up impossible. So I stopped playing because I felt like the game had progressively gotten harder and harder, well surpassing the difficulty of any of the SoulsBorne and yet there was no real reward worth the struggle since Sekiro has no other weapons or armor.
Well I decided to give it another try a few months ago and everything started to click for me and I realized Sekiro cannot be played like a SoulsBorne game. This may be obvious to many, but on my first playthrough it wasn't. I would try to dodge attacks, mainly focusing on taking health away, and I would only deflect or guard break occasionally. This ultimately led to me thinking the game was impossible, because I was playing it wrong. On my second playthrough I had a blast and felt like the game became much easier and honestly might be the most fair and well designed of them all. Constantly being in your opponents face, constantly deflecting, dodging when necessary, and being aggressive overall is so satisfying and the real way to master Sekiro. I'm sure you guys probably were aware of all this though. This is just what made the game click for me. I loved the intense one on one sword fighting for most of the bosses in Sekiro. Now I will say that I still think the game suffers by not having different types of swords or outfits (excluding the one you get for beating the game and the DLC ones) but ultimately the combat makes for a satisfying and unique game regardless.
Sekiro is still not my favorite nor would I be inclined to come back to it as much as the SoulsBorne games, but upon learning to set aside my SoulsBorne habits and play the game the way it was meant to be played, I found it to be pretty awesome. If you guys just don't like that kind of game then I understand why you wouldn't want to revisit it, but if your frustrations were anything like mine, then I implore you to try it again someday. I will say though I never got around to beating the Demon of Hatred legit and I probably never will lol. That boss just doesn't seem to be designed for Sekiro and I really think it puts a stain on an overall pretty fair and consistent experience.
@@nooodlelegs honestly I’m not a big fan of sword saint as I just don’t like spear enemies. I found him relatively easy but I just didn’t find the boss very fun. Owl father on the other hand destroyed me and is easily in my top five bosses of the whole series. I didn’t enjoy sekiro as much as the other games because I just prefer dodge based combat over deflect based but it easily has some of the best bosses and areas in the series
If gravetender is"undeniably the worst boss in the game from our point of view"....then why did y'all rank the boss differently?😂
The first phase of the Two Demons is pretty terrible in my opinion, the second phase does redeem it a bit, but still, it falls into the pitfall that basically every multi-fight falls into; extreme tedium and overstaying it's welcome. Also that meteor attack is the most bs attack ever, I really like how it's undodgeable and completely blinds you.
SPOILER: Demon princes is a good fight, especially for a gank fight, but come on putting it at number 1 is just contrarian lol
Idk I actually thought this before the list. However I was surprised as you were that they were at #1.
Guy waits to fight the old demon king until he’s over leveled, then complains how easy the fight is
Bro wtf nameless king 13☠️
But champion grave tender is my second favorite boss :(

@@Cytonox oh i checked all of them and enjoied them all
@@BBQcheese yes I respect your opinion but i think that fight makes no sense ( as in its not hard to do, it just doesnt have any interesting or special attacks to keep it going)
Even though the camera on the first phase is awful, putting Nameless King below Aldrich is an interesting choice
👍😉
Unpopular opinion. But Nameless King sucks… If you didn’t need to kill the damn dragon every time I wouldn’t mind him as much.
The dragon fight isn't even bad. It's genuinely a good fight apart from the camera angle during a few moves. Nameless king on the other hand is essentially a perfect fight with no move being awkwardly telegraphed or cheap, and the arena is big and open with no place to get stuck at all. The second phase is essentially the definition of a duel, and one that's done perfectly well.
@@Sephirothkingdom782 I’m not gonna change my mind. Just having to kill the annoying dragon every time ruined the experience for me
Demon Princes are great but Gael and Dancer are more my speed. Princes are by Far the best gank fight From has ever made. Midir is shite, he is too freaking impossible to learn, can one shot any build in seconds and i refuse to even try anymore due to that crappy long run back. Friede also sucks. She is way too much for DS3's combat and i completely disagree on her disappearing. It is nigh impossible except by sheer luck to dodge her stab and figure out where she is, even with the snow tells. But i could also be more frustrated with her because the Ashes DLC in general was awful. It felt like a longer version of Scholar of the First Sin enemy design. Huge open areas with so many damn enemies everywhere AND they give crap experience and items along with one crappy PvP boss and an overly difficult final boss. What a chore.
Thoughts:
Champion's Gravetender and Greatwolf: OK, this definitely isn't in the 5 worst, sure the first half sucks, but the greatwolf is a thrilling fight.
Crystal Sage: A pretty nothing fight, nothing offensive but not very memorable.
Ancient Wyvern: This one is memorable for the wrong reasons, the worst part is those annoying snake enemies.
Halflight, Spear of the Church: The NPC sucks, and the player is a different fight each time.
Curse-Rotted Greatwood: I do think this fight is overhated, it stands out as pretty scary, minus the ball zits. That being said, it's still not great.
High Lord Wolnir: The only reason I don't hate this fight is because he looks cool and I do sort of like the gimmick of hitting his bracelets.
Yhorm the Giant: Honestly, I prefer fighting him without the Storm Ruler as I actually like his moveset.
Old Demon King: He's like a frail Demon Firesage, but with an actually new moveset.
Deacons of the Deep: I think it's executed OK, but it's definitely the easiest boss in the game.
Iudex Gundyr: He's insane for a tutorial boss, especially with his second phase.
Oceiros, the Consumed King: I think he's OK with a great soundtrack, although he is actually holding a baby, it's just invisible, but with his second phase transition...
Vordt of the Boreal Valley: The people who say he sucks because he's easy don't seem to realise that he's your first true boss. I like him, he feels like a bull with a weapon.
Nameless King: I think he should be higher, his 2nd phase is so good, that I don't care if the first phase is mediocre.
Aldrich, Devourer of Gods: This guy is a psycho, he has that arrow attack. Oh, he also eats orphans and gods to hear them scream, yeah that's pretty messed up as well.
Dancer of the Boreal Valley: One of them most unpredictable and cool fights I've ever played.
Abyss Watchers: Artorias Fan Club is a pretty great fight, I just wish the second phase had more health.
Champion Gundyr: I love this fight, it's just a straight up brawl, and he's balanced by having low health.
Dragonslayer Armour: I do agree his theme is meh in phase 2, but it's a great fight, I just wish we had references to Smough as well as Ornstein.
Twin Princes: The theme is one of the best in the series, but I just wish you didn't have to be so far away for the 2nd phase to actually be one.
Pontiff Sulyvahn: I think his theme is great the entire fight, and I love his arena, and the shadow clone is cool.
Friede and Ariandel: Phase 1 is just better Priscilla, Phase 2 is one of the best gank fights in the series, and Phase 3 is chaos incarnate.
Soul of Cinder: I love everything about this fight, that's all.
Darkeater Midir: I think Placidusax has dethroned Midir as the best Dragon fight in the series, but he's still a great time.
Slave Knight Gael: I can't really say anything that hasn't been said already, he's great, possibly tied with Ludwig as the best fight in the series.
Demon Princes: If Jack hadn't spoiled it in the Bloodborne video, I'd have been surprised to see them this high, but they're definitely underrated since I think people either hate this fight or like it a bit.
reading these comments make me not even want to watch the video, because ill know I will disagree with everything
The demon in pain version is the one with the meteors and the demon from below has the lasers
Crystal Sage can be parried its interesting and cool to visit
