Im not usually participating in these "MnK vs Aim Assist debates" but I will try to explain something to you now. The devs themselves didn't limit controller to not be able to move while looting (this is just example), its the engine in which game was made. Therefore, in the eyes of developers that's just considered "classic" setting for every controller player. Since this game has a crossplay mode it wouldn't even be fair towards other controller players which are on console if you are on PC and using steam configs to move while looting (just an example). Same goes for tap-strafe, it was never possibble to do on controller without configs. And the devs didn't limit anything, tap strafe was always there, but just impossibble to do on controller. And using the same logic, controller on tapstrafe = impossibble = classic setting for every controller player. There's bunch of configs aswell for no recoil that u can use on MnK and that is basically cheating. Any form of automation is just cheating. It's just the way it is bro. And one more thing, I seriously think at this point that 90% controller players are just trolls or living in delusion. Every single pro player in the game said the Aim Assist is broken. They do this thing for a living, they basically commited their entire lives towards one game, if anyone should know its them. When the mechanic says your car has issues with engine I don't see you arguing with him and try to prove him that you are the one who knows better.

Skill gap is so low in that game that its unbelivable, just because of amount of tracking their aim assist has. It's atleast 2x stronger than Apex and im not even joking, u can try it out yourself, so I wouldn't call it "barely a problem". In Apex is problematic, but in CoD mnk is definetly not playable unless you are Shroud or have some esport history.

Only reason pro players moved to controller was so they could take Advantage of Configs with aim assist+ 240Hz FPS which gives them more of a edge over console players. Now that cfigs are gone the controller players on Pc have no advantage over MnK players.

If you want to overclock a Playstation controller on the PC, you have to display the controller in DS4Windows as an Xbox controller (so that the PC thinks it is an Xbox 360 controller). This is the only way to overclock controllers.

yeah I dont think they've even implemented any of the movement changes, other than 1. when the rest of them come, you shouldnt be able to do any of this. very wise move by respawn. you cant have a competitive game, with people using exploits. you used to be able to bunny hop, in Counter-Strike, prior to version 1.3.. 1.3 was before even steam.. when 1.6 came out.. steam also came out with it. not only that.. but you used to be able to jump and shoot in Counter-Strike and your shots would be accurate.. it literally looked like apex legends back in the day.. we'd all be jumping around with desert eagles trying to shoot each other. but guess what? it was an exploit. so it got removed. which allowed CS to grow into the game it is today, competitively. if you arent good enough to position yourself correctly.. and you find yourself in trouble, to the point you need to use movement exploits to survive.. you arent good at the game, and when these movement exploits get removed.. half the community will be bronze level.. and they'll more than likely quit. these cheats.. basically give them this ego high.. when they play without them, and dont even make top 15 every game.. they'll quit. so.. its good apex is doing this right now, because its going to cause a lot of people to quit, who rely on movement exploits to win. if we can just get respawn to turn off aim assist for controller players.. we might actually have a viable e-sport on our hands.

How is CS in any way related to apex? How is CS in any way related to apex?
How come “we might finally have a competitive game on our hands” if 1: apex is the single most successful e-sports game ever produced both in profit, revenue stream, viewers, players and overall satisfaction
2: you “remove aim assist” so only a fraction of the players get to play the game properly.
Not sure if you’ve noticed but, unlike cs, apex players don’t stand still and slow peak around corners.
Aim assist is necessary because aiming isn’t just about initial crosshair placement like it is in cs.
Now finally. What players do you know of that are so driven to chase down these extreme movement mechanics and yet aren’t good enough to make it out of bronze?
