Isak is such a monster I hope he wins a golden boot in his career, has all the tools… can be the quintessential striker while also having attributes of a winger and being able to play on the left. He gives Thierry Henry vibes imo.

@@marcov8565 I think top four and a cup (FA, League) should be our goal. CL is a free hit, we should blood as many young ones as we can in it (no fear) and treat any advance in the CL as a huge win.

@@Skumtomten1 We’ll either be in Pot 3 or 4, most likely pot 4. We’re not under any illusions but who wants to be in Europe to play Maccabi Haifa and Red Star Belgrade? Anyway, we gave the champions a right old run for their money in the two matches we played against them in the domestic league last year and we weren’t even as strong as we are now.
Gordon is a joy to watch, so much expected from him this season

Gordon is still very young, and you have to remember even a player like Giggs back in the day got heavily criticised for his end product when he first came on the scene. Gordon certainly has all the other attributes to be a menace to opposition defences. We should also remember that if his near misses keep happening we won't be helping the team by writing him off or getting on his back. What will likely happen is that Barnes will start ahead of him, if not at the start of the season then Eddie will probably give a few games to Gordon to see if he can score or set up a few, and then Howe can always take him out of the firing line if it gets too much for him. Also as people have been saying, Isak is a beast.
Yeah it's pretty crazy how people get on his back so much considering he's young and still developing. He's making all the right moves and getting in the right positions. The end product will come, people just need to be patient.

I feel like Tonali is a good player but 80m is a lot for a gattuso type. He’s a lot more similar to gattuso than Pirlo. He doesn’t have the finesse and vision of Pirlo but he’s more gritty and defensive
