The two wheels at the back are homemade -two 24 hole disks welded to a 3/4 inch bar-it took me a long time to make them. I have two BMX 48 hole, hubs with a 14 mm axle, which I need to spoke. Thus far, I've reconditioned two necks ( King Pins) which I got from the dump. Your video on Ackermann's Law is the best instructional aid I've found-now I get it. The weather is turning cooler up here-snow forecast for the end of the week. I'll get as much done until it gets too miserable.
I'm at the same place as you. Today I cut a 30 inch section of square tubing and just started to bore a hole using a hole cutter-I'm not in a rush. To make thing's easier, I'm decommissioning the Loadrunner (Atomic Zombie) and using the wheels, as well as other components. The new machine will be based on the quadracycle ( Streetfighter )-purchased the plans from AZ.

I have a drill press-slow as molasses for this job but it teaches me that patience is a virtue.

Yes- but I am suffering from stage four VW poisoning from this summer---LOL
I am running the hole saw in a milling machine with a machine vise holding the work so it is pretty fast and easy. What are you using for front hubs?
Do you still have your vw
