    It is not a T60, it's an Allen bit 10mm (old style) or 12mm (new style). If you have the old style, replace them immediately with the new version. Ford parts ONLY.

    Thanks 🙏 brother for showing us your knowledge 👌but I have a question do I have to reprogram the injectors after installed or not?

  • @isaabdrahmansosa-dominguez267

    I have a 2003 f250 king ranch. I noticed a reduction of power. After connecting the computer I discovered that my injector #4 is misfiring. Sure I replaced all of them or just the #4 that the computer said that I have problems with?

      @StandardBrand  Před 7 lety +2

      Hi, Isa. Thanks for the question. Depending on the mileage of your truck, it would be a good idea to replace them all. Regardless, it would be a good idea to replace all injectors on that bank while the valve cover is off. Hope that helps.

    Is it required to clean the injector bore? If so what could be used? I understand ford has a brush but the price is too high. Would a copper pipe brush be ideal?

    Where did you get that bent little tool to pop out the crimped plastic electrical connector of the injector?

    I'm gonna try this next injector that goes out. Other videos make it look difficult. You make it look really easy! Thanks! Would a scangauge 2 tell you which injector is going out?

    • @StandardBrand
      @StandardBrand  Před 6 lety +1

      Thanks for the comment. We're not as familiar with scangauge 2. You will need a scantool to determine which cylinder is misfiring. Once you determine that, you need to verify that there's proper compression before condemning an injector. Hope that helps.

    I have a 2004 f450 and I'm planning on replacing all 8 injector, I just wanted to know if I have to follow the same procedure as this video or does it change?

    • @StandardBrand
      @StandardBrand  Před 7 lety +3

      The process is pretty much the same for each injector, although you don't need to remove the valve cover, high pressure rail, bleed it for each individual injector. That stuff is only done once per bank.

    Gotta question, I got a 2003 f250 6.0. It's got constant white smoke coming out the exhaust. I did some research. Found out it might be bad injectors, EGR valve cooler, or a cracked head gasket. Any tips or ideas on what it might be.

      We recommend taking it to your local repair shop. We are not confident answering without being in front of the vehicle. Best of luck.

      Ford labeled the cylinders on the 6.0 beginning with the passenger front, driver front then back to the passenger side. Driver side is 2,4,6,8 and passenger side is 1,3,5,7

      Yes, it is #4. Odd cylinders on passenger side, even numbers on drivers side. He's working on drivers side, with let side of video being front of engine. Front most cylinder is 2, then 4, then 6, then 8.
