Netflix is giving way to Jio cinema to rise and then it will cry and leave India
Putting aside the usual Corporate gibberish move of Netflix,
Netflix audience is way different than Jio audience, content plays a big role as best of all languages be it Korean, japanese, polish, German etc.......while jio is literally Uncle, aunty, old age retirement cringe serials atleast at this moment. I have Netflix, also Jio but never once me or I people I know use jio TV other than for only sport it has is same old cricket. Jio only wants to gain the usual Desi cheapstake percentage in market other than that Jio can't take much market from Other OTT, it's like Xiaomi phones in market.

those who are saying it's a successful move because they gained more subscribers just wait few months. they only got more subs because people didn't know how this works, all they knew is that their Netflix isn't working and it wouldn't if they don't pay. but now that people are getting to know how it actually works and that they can get back to sharing password only if they login to same wifi once in a month, Netflix 's subscribers will go down very quickly. although they might retain some new subs but most of them will get back to sharing again.
Sadly Disney+ Hotstar is also going to do the same... And in the near future all the OTT's may follow the same ...

Just use the cast option from the mobile to the TV. I am one of the users on my friends account and since it still let's me use netflix on mobile and not my TV, I cast from mobile app to TV. VOILAAA!! Works for me. Hope this helps someone.
