Full-Time RV Scarborough Maine Pt 2 (Kennebunkport and Ogunquit)

- With our Canada plans canceled due to COVID, we were winging it this summer. And, since we were having such a great time with our friends Randy and Bri at Wild Duck in Scarborough, we decided to extend a couple more weeks there! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Click Show More ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

The only drawback to that plan was that our site on the marsh was booked, so we needed to move to a different site. The campground owner, Yuvi, was very accommodating and moved some people around to make a large enough site available for us. Thanks, Yuvi!

While we had very briefly visited Kennebunkport on the motorcycle previously, we didn't get to explore. So, we headed back down there with our friends for some food and a walk around town.
Alisson's Restaurant had a tent set up outside, which was perfect for the situation and the food was awesome! After lunch, we explored this very cool little fishing village.
- Ogunquit -
Before we left the area, we wanted to meet up with our New Hampshire friends, Ron and Cindy Lou. Ogunquit is close to mid-way between us, so we decided to meet there.
What a cool little fishing town! The place looks like it's straight out of a Lifetime movie set!
We got some food, of course. Our friends chose Barnacle Billy's, and it was a great choice! After lunch, we took a walk along the Marginal Way. The marginal way is a beautiful shore-line path with stunning views!
We had a blast during our extended stay in New England, and look forward to visiting again!

Enjoyed the tour. Teasing us with lobster and beer again I see. I think I’ll be glad to see y’all leave the NE so I’ll quit drooling on my tablet. My husband and I went to Maine in early August of 2019. We tried to go to Marginal Way midweek and all of the parking lots were jam filled and there was traffic and people everywhere!! We never did get to walk it. But we enjoyed other coastal areas nearby. OOB, and Wells beach. We still loved our trip.
I have to thank you two for you video on making a check list. I went to Yellow Stone, Glacier National and Jackson hole this summer and that check list made it so stress free and easy. Love you.

And we can SEE in each of them (from Kennebunk to Bar Harbor ), that you guys always have a great time there in Maine !!!! New England has MANY beautiful spots to enjoy, and you both have always done an EXCELLENT job with showing all each destination in video, editing, and your "perfect" music selections !!!!!

Maine is a beautiful state. Love the little shops to walk too. Chad you do a great job of videoing. It’s a shame it rained while riding your bike. Glad it cleared up though. Ogunquit looked like a nice town even with the $25.00 parking. Beautiful there. Can’t wait till more videos. Stay safe travel safe.

Great info on coastal Maine RVing. And yes, backing in without 8 hours on the road is always easier, yet a great partner spotting can always make it look easy.

We’ve never been to Maine, but hope to go next fall. Love seeing the glimpses of your 397th. You’re the reason we got our 2021. I’m surprised at some of the differences. We are 5 weeks in ours and still haven’t picked out a toy for the garage.

One year from now, in the beginning of 2022, my Husband and I will be embarking on our full time RV adventure! You both have been so helpful by producing and sharing the video of your fantastic adventure! I know that there are 50 or more nuggets of inspired knowledge and experience that will help us get off to a great start! We stayed in Ogunquit in Fall of 2019, and did the Marginal Way walk. There is a fantastic restaurant in Ogunquit called The Lobster Pound which is right on Route 1.
Great video! I live in NH and have been to many of those spots! Thanks for the info on the campground- I will definitely look into that one. We often stay at Libby’s on the beach, but only an few nights because we part time and are looking for beach time. We will definitely check out Wild Duck
FYI Perkins Cove is the ‘Cabot Cove’ in the TV show Murder she wrote.....

Not sure where you are heading but if in the Charlotte area and need a Moochdocking site for a bit, we have a straight back in to a full hook up site that you're welcome to. Sorry we only have a 30amp service but is cooler now so should work for you. You are more than welcome for as long as you need it.

I was at Wagon Wheel in Old Orchard Beach ME all summer! looking at other in the area for this year
been subscribed for some time now. I am from MA myself, ex USAF stationed at PAFB in Cocoa Beach. Rode Triumphs until an aneurysm ended that..... (but luck to be here). On our second Class-C and on the second shakedown had to change sites on the first night due to power outages at Jetty Park Cape Canaveral......breakdown and move.......pita.......But I think after wife retires in 7 months We'd love to camp in Maine for a summer.
Covid sucks and has sucked the life out of all of us; 2020 can't go away soon enough......

My family owns a camp in Lincoln close to Baxter state park and have room for RV on there property! We can hike Baxter state park and MT Kathrdin! We are in California and appreciate of all the lush green, accessible, and fun places you visit. Hoping to get the opportunity to visit some of the places and campsites you've shared. We lost our fur baby in June, Sophia (Lhaso Apso) who owned our rig (40' Tiffin Phaeton) when we traveled. May I ask what breed is Daisy...she is just so darn cute.
