I guess the guitar is tuned in drop-D with capo on the 4th freat. Basicly it all winds up around an A-shape. You can hear where the strings are hammerd in the intro. I did't find a different way to play it like that.
It’s playable in similar ways that sound close in regular tuning and in open e or c I believe. But Im pretty sure they’re using the tuning CGDGGD. With a capo on the sixth fret, the song is played in C# Hollow Coves also uses this tuning in coastline and interlude and evermore and a few other songs so i didn’t guess it from nowhere, but the moment I tried it it seemed to be the obvious correct tuning
I have a tutorial posted elsewhere on my channel besides for the cover, but I posted it in the first days after the song was new so I hadn’t really perfected it yet.
