Im a huge F1 freak since 2009. This year I discovered irish road motorcycle racing and have finally been hooked on bikes. I just have to say that this wheel to wheel racing is way more exciting than 99 percent of F1 races

I like F1 as a car equivalent to MotoGP. Just recently got interested in F1. I rode motorcycles for 7 years, though, so I can feel every turn on these MotoGP races and re-live my past ;)
@sojourner650 If you're looking for a great season to watch from start to finish, 2010 or 2012 is my recommendation. The sport is much less interesting now days in my opinion.

A tiny margin made a large difference.
Double softs vs Hard soft. It could be argued that Mav was pushed to the point where he had to max out those softs leading up to last lap because Marc had pace and he was pushing Mav. He measured Mav and had to make calculated guesses. Had Mav down to the science of his tire and attacked. Marc is a hunter.
Mav pushed to hard through Lukey Heights on older tires, didn’t have the grip so he had to brake harder going downhill and it picked up the rear and unsettled the bike.
I miss this marc....

I remember watching it live and couldn’t believe how good his start, first corner and first lap was. Pretty cool to lead the opening lap of your 400th GP at 40 years old

I've only caught glimpses as I've had this rolling, and it looks like a great race, but some straight sloppy crashes too like 16:50 brutal high side (replay) and 55:10 low side. Hope everyone was alright!
