- Another way day. Now relegation is confirmed nothing to play for other than pride, the shirt, the fans, the town - so everything to play for then!!
Aldershot on the other hand have it all to do still. In a relegation fight being just outside the bottom 4. They played like they wanted to win and ultimately did so beating us 2-1. If we’d have actually shown some fighting spirit in previous games who knows what would have happened 🤷🏻♂️
Cheers to everyone that came and spoke, it’s appreciated. Massive credit to the 81 fans too that travelled 👏🏼👏🏼 Least we got to see us score, I’m finding positives 😉

Well done to you Gareth and Jack and Becky. That is a long trip to make when you are in the position you are in. Never known Jack so subdued about Scunny both when I worked with him and on the vlogs.
I think next season may be a lot more difficult than some of your fans think. You've got to find a team first, and I think you may see a lot more away days with 85 fans if you don't get off to a good start.
I'll still keep watching. Tell Jack I'll buy him a commiseration pint next time I see him.

Could be worse, our last away game is Dorking end of season 😂 I’m sure we’ll have a few more at that one. I mean who doesn’t love a 5.30 kick off over 200 miles away when you’re already relegated 🤦🏻🤣😂

I used to be a matchday steward and Aldershot fans - at last the ones who travelled - had a very unlovely reputation for pointless, random acts of violence. And I know one away supporter who was assaulted in a pub down there. Bleurgh.
Think most teams have a few like that 👀
This may sound daft but a lot of "Aldershot" thugs actually are part of Portsmouth's firm who tag on when Aldershot played teams they had a gripe with (Wolves/Carlisle/ Sheffield W and Sheffield U etc-it was often a big and/or Northern club) that we don't ever play now! When we played Pompey we were the joke little brother they didn't ever bother with! Every club has idiots ;it's worse when some other clubs thugs turn up. Bordon was where a few Aldershot/Portsmouth fans came from and I think it started from that. We've got inflation and strikes back from the 70's-football idiots we can do without being revived!
Hats off to the 81 who made the trip, especially when we are going through some tough times with little cash to spare. I had a bad result in Nottingham on Saturday with my team getting a battering and my season has been dismal too. I'm going to watch the football on Saturday for a change and will be going to GP, so hopefully Scunny can finish their home games on a positive note. Before I switched sports, I watched my local club in Nationwide North, as was then, and watched them slide down the pyramid to near extinction with 'home' games being played on other grounds some 30 miles away. The football was dire and not worth watching. Alas to say the club is now starting to come back through the pyramid although in my opinion the football is still crap, which is why lots of football supporters in my town go to see league teams in the City and would sooner pay more to see a better quality product. I'm just hoping that this does not happen to Scunny, because it could kill off the club.

Main thing is we focus on next season and in doing so, have a good close season bringing the right players in. We can’t have another season like the last few. We need to be on the front foot from the off. Actually turning up to games, looking like we want to be there.
Too many times this season, especially towards the start. The players gave the impression the other team should roll over and give us the 3 points 🤦🏻 If we have that same attitude next season, we’re in more trouble.
Got to respect your very few fans passion...but there must be better things to do on a Saturday...like a lot of things😂. Fair play you follow your team everywhere but looks very dire. Good luck next year
Haha only takes me 5 mins into a game, before I question myself and figure out what the wife would have me doing. Then realise the football isn’t too bad after all 😉
