- I'm so excited to show you our family/TV room today. I love it so very much, as exemplified with my cuddle session with Lady Buttercup. It's dark and cozy and I honestly don't think I'd change one thing about it. I love landing on that sectional in the corner, my two kids piling on and watching TV as a family (especially in the winter). This ended up being far more of a TV room as the kids don't tend to play in this space, but living in the PNW in the winter we sure do love to spend time in here at night and on the weekends.

This space truly is a vibe and the perfect vibe for the PNW! I love that you talked about the slow journey to getting it right because it's so relatable and proves that sometimes you need to step away for a bit and come back to it with a clear mind. That paint colour is gorgeous, the monochromatic palette is sooooo cozy, I love this room!

I absolutely love this room! I have real wood paneling walls in our movie room and you have inspired me to go with my gut and paint them in a dark color. (I also do adult foster care for a living so I thought it was fun that that was the original purpose for your home.)

What are the dimensions of this room?
I mostly love this room bc of the moody, cozy vibe. 2 things I'm not a big fan of: The placement of the fireplace, and if you already have a huge framed TV and a gallery wall across from it, I question needing the other two walls having art
