President Museveni hosts Uhuru Kenyatta in Entebbe

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yesterday hosted the former President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta at State House Entebbe, who is in the country on a short impromptu visit. The President's Office is yet to disclose what the two leaders discussed, however, Kenyatta, who is now the facilitator of the Democratic Republic of Congo Peace Process, has been holding talks with regional leaders over plans to restart the stalled peace process. The peace process started in earnest last year, with the rebel M23 ordered to withdraw from their bases and several countries contributing troops to end the fighting around Goma. While the M23 have withdrawn from some of their bases, Kinshasa has dragged its feet in meeting other demands, including holding peace talks with the various protagonists in the conflict there. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
