you should try the yume s10 it has an 100 watt motor and goes up to 30 miles per hour and its unlocked, it also has dual suspension. It seems like a really good deal. it also has 30 miles range.
needs more power to keep up with traffic here in the Philippines and haul my 100kg 6ft self, the IP67 rating for the scooter is perfect when the rainy season comes.
Great content as always. I'm really looking forward to your full review. The Emove Cruiser is most likely going to be my next purchase, it looks like a nice mid point between the entry level scooters and the dual motor/high performance scooters. If you report back that the range is anywhere near what they claim and if the ride is comfortable and enjoyable then I'm gonna be 99% sold.
Just did my first impressions test ride today and the power was very surprising, made it up the steepest hill around here. Comfort is on point. I'll do the range testing probably towards the end of the week, I need to range test the HiboyS2Pro first.
Love your videos. Can you review the Flash 3.0 from Gyrocopter soon? It's a cheap "commuter" style scooter clone, like the NineBot and Xiaomi M365. Despite the proliferation of M365 and NineBot based content on channels like yours and Electric Scooter Guide (ESG), there are surprisingly FEW reviews of this particular scooter. Also, Best Buy is selling them at $400 CAD a pop! I just recently bought one for my daily commute, and as a heavier rider (235 lb), this thing often bottoms out on me when going over cracks and bumps. What I'm looking for is a way to modify this piece of junk into a high-torque beast for climbing Montreal's hills or how to stiffen the suspension or ways to add extra range and power. Honestly, any mod would likely make this thing better. At the price I paid, it does a decent job, but I want this thing to fly! Could you help me, and others like me out?
Hey GOW. Your videos was a big help in my research for a new scooter. I got a 2021 emove cruiser. I was wondering did yours have a small stem wobble? Plus my stem makes creaking/squeaky noises, I’ve put lube almost on every bolt and by the locking mechanism and still it makes noises. I’ve even put some by the stem locking bolts. And it still happens. Was wondering if you had the same issues and what you did to fix it.
Yea and I overnighted the bottom stem bolt and stripped it because it still had wobble 🚶🏽♂️😩. I live in NY so 2mm I’m going to the voro motors location in Brooklyn and pick up some new ones. My main issue is the squeaking noises coming from somewhere by the steam. I’m just trying to see if that normal or not. I spoke to voro motors and they say it shouldn’t really be like that
You have to change the wheel setting that’s set at 10 can set it as high as 24 But I set it on 20 / the voltage also if it’s 52 v set it to 60 is the maximum set You will notice / it will fly : doesn’t affect anything but will go faster and not risky to burn battery 🔋/ it will drain a bit faster but go much faster
Lol. You're supposed to set it to 9 to make the speedo accurate. You can change the wheel size all you like, that just changes the math that the throttle does to calculate speed based on RPM of the tire. I mention this in my minimum range / speed test video . You'll notice that you can change the speedo reading by changing p0, but the speed of the scooter is the same. Download a GPS app on your phone and try it for yourself.
Great scooter, I got a lemon from voro but I’m probably just unlucky. One thing that sucks is there’s so many screws, good because everything’s replaceable, bad because everything has to constantly get tightened. Other than that the range is fantastic, acceleration is great, speed is perfect cruising speed, and it’s portable.
Try grabbing yourself a tube of loctite blue and applying a small amount of threadlocker to each screw. That will keep them from rattling loose after you tighten them back in!
Ginger On Wheels pretty sure voro loctites the screws before shipping too I did locktite my screws but issue still happens mainly in the folding mechanism I had horrible experiences. After ownership I think that’s by far the scooters biggest flaw that folding mech is just really bad half the screws fell out when the scooter was brand new, bought new ones loctited it and those fell out too within 2 days of really short mundane riding.
@@GingerOnWheels cops turn a blind eye now but i really don't care legal or not ps. it's only legal here at the moment if it's a hired scooter private still illegal
@@commuterwithascooter7272 it's not free, it'll go back once I'm done with the final review video. I was just giving you my recommendation of the scooters I've ridden and tested. My next suggestion would be a Wolf Warrior, but im guessing you don't want to drop 3k on an upgrade from an S2 pro. The Emove cruiser gets me up to 27mph, not slow by and stretch.
I have the Kugoo M4 and it is almost identical, but only 500watts. So I wondered if that 1600w motor would fit mine so paused the video and had a good look at it. It says 600w on it not 1600w😉
You are 100% right. I got bad information before I finalized the video. Trusted their website, box, and manual. It's sort of ironic, because I started my channel to try and reduce the amount of false information about scooters. I have a gas scooter my God is hell of fun to ride but cant use it on public roads when I did I crashed hand full of times going over 25 I say it hurts got lots bumbs and bruises
Hi Mr. Ginger on wheels. So I wanted to mention. The part in this video about your disappointment on the front fender or splash guard. Where it seems odd that the splash guard is only half. Where it doesn’t go further beyond the front of the forks. Your scooter u purchased in this video and unboxing seems different from all other videos. On on other videos it shows the fender going past the front forks. I’m confused. Why did u get a scooter that has a different fender size, from all other reviews I saw? Hope u called the company to inquire. Just thought u should know.
Good eye, the half fender is part of our improvements to the product itself. You can read more about it here: www.voromotors.com/blogs/news/always-improving We always listen to our user feedback to constantly update the EMOVE line of products.
Grab yourself a set of foot long metal tire levers. They are about 20 bucks for a 3 pack on Amazon. Makes the job pretty easy once you get the rim unmounted.
@@GingerOnWheels Mind I ask you a question? Have you tried the Apollo Explore? Does it compare to the Emove Cruiser? I can get the Explore here in my country, but if I want the Emove Cruiser, I would need to import it. I honestly don't know what to do. The Cruiser just seems to have it all, high IP rating, large deck to stand on, volt reader, keys, wide handlebars etc.
@@MrDLCZcams The Explore is only going to have about half the range. Less secure folding mechanism and no IP rating. I wouldn't buy the explore, but I wouldn't pay to import a scooter either. Is the vsett line not available to you?
Does anybody remember How bad these folding mechanisms were on the razor scooters and don’t let anybody to big on it or do Any jumps of the curve Because you’ll probably have mad steering wobble front to back when accelerating or slowing down
I noticed when you bounced the scooter there was a clicking sound. Do you hear a clicking sound coming from the deck when you bounce the scooter around or ride over bumps? Mine has that issue sounds like a loose screw bouncing around in the deck and it drove me crazy. even the smallest bumps there’s an obnoxious annoying click.
Okay you can even test it at home just grab the handlebars and shake the scooter and bounce it off the tires. I noticed it when you were demonstrating the kick stand and the scooter bounced alittle
Ginger On Wheels must just be mine then, I’m sending mine back to voro they’ll hopefully solve the issue. Saw someone here say their customer service is questionable, not true at all I had issues since day 1 and they were helping every step of the way
Yes. Knee pads for sure. I fell twice... First thing in the ground palm rest... So buy gloves with reinforced palm rest. Second thing in the ground... My knee... For a luck I was not tok fast and I rotate so I hit the side of the knee.... So definitely use some knee pads at least something to reduce the impact.
Saw a video about an emove scooter and the rider said it annoyed the hell out of him to tighten most of the screws everytime he rode it. Any thoughts or experience with that?
I've never ridden an electric scooter where screws don't come loose. All I can say about my thoughts on the video that you watched are that the person who made the video doesn't watch my ginger on Wheels workshop videos. In every one of those I recommend using blue loctite on screws.
I have one of emove cruiser for 2 months now... Some screws do not have lock on it. So you may experience some loose bolts. And as default, is always good a preflight checkup.
@@GingerOnWheels a lot of the emove cruiser customers said the springs also rust after getting wet, so they recommend coating them with some kind of rust inhibitor. Just don't get the disc brake. Be safe!!!
out of morbid curiosity, where do you get the money to buy all of these scooters. A common scooter person is able to own one scooter weather it be the sub 500 or a 4 grand one. to have multiple of each is a blessing in itself. and how do Ikeep landing on your videos lol. feeling like a damn troller. and why Ginger on wheels? How did that come about?
I play in the stock market a bit. When I hit it big with calls on an earnings season or something I tend to splurge. I'm hooked on these things. I figure I could buy a car, or buy a new PEV every few months. The choice is obvious to me 🙂. The Hiboy s2 and this emove were sent to me from the manufacturers for testing for a few weeks because they enjoy my content as much as you seem to. Cheers buddy, thanks for watching. 👍
You missed one of the most important selling points on this awesome scooter. TUBELESS TIRES!!!! Wont find them anywhere below this selling point. Heard all the nightmare stories about constant flats with tube tires. Oh, and the range is LEGIT.
I don't see how that's a selling point at all. As long as you keep the PSI in your tubed tires high enough you won't get flats. tubeless tires are extremely hard to change if not impossible for the standard consumer. I would much rather have an inner tube with the split rim than have to deal with extended tire levers and recruiting a friend to help me change a tire.
@@GingerOnWheels most tool stores sell a small manual tire changer that bolts on your workbench for about $60 USD, It makes an easy 1 man/woman tire change. Slime works WAY better than an innertube. The #1 innertube complaint ive encountered on many reviews of this scooter are pinch flats. IMHO if you have the loot to buy expensive machines such as this, the tire changer is a MINUTE investment in regard to specialized tools for the scooter hobby.
im sure there would have to be an improvision in regard to clamping the tire for the scooters particular rear wheel, ill be making that improvision if needed and ill update, but, it gets a tire off of a rim on a small scale. hope this helps.

@@GingerOnWheels Thanks, I look forward to the results. Also hope you're not suffering too much after your fall.
@@walterbell193 nah I'm fine! First couple days were rough but now I'm back in action.

The short front mudguard is to allow suspension travel. :)
I bought one used and it was unfortunately the old one. What differences are there between the old and new one besides the wheels being bigger?
I want the bright orange one. This is the scooter I'm planning to upgrade from M365. 😏 Come what may.
That would be a quality upgrade.
Getting mine on Tuesday I’m going to check out this loctite stuff because all I ever hear about is screws falling g out
Good call
Could see this being a great choice for uber eats or deliveroo riders.
I ordered mine in black, so that color is available in 2020.
Ouch bro, your knuckles took a beating.
I just ordered one using your link…
I saw that someone did that! Thanks 😊
That’s the scooter I have been wanting oooo yes it shall be mine come Garth...
It's definitely a sweet scoot!
Easy to setup. A little difficult to get used to using.
Is that your girl? Congrats!!!

Watch my emove cruiser review, I explain how to tighten the stem and latch
Yea and I overnighted the bottom stem bolt and stripped it because it still had wobble 🚶🏽♂️😩. I live in NY so 2mm I’m going to the voro motors location in Brooklyn and pick up some new ones. My main issue is the squeaking noises coming from somewhere by the steam. I’m just trying to see if that normal or not. I spoke to voro motors and they say it shouldn’t really be like that
@@stephanspence5419 no there shouldn't be noise. They'll fix it up for you in person im sure.
You also excited for the dualtron x2
You have to change the wheel setting that’s set at 10 can set it as high as 24
But I set it on 20 / the voltage also if it’s
52 v set it to 60 is the maximum set You will notice / it will fly : doesn’t affect anything but will go faster and not risky to burn battery 🔋/ it will drain a bit faster but go much faster
Some people call him Ginger On Wheels, but he's known as Scab by most folks.
That's me...
Ok thanks for the reply / play it at your own risk live free ride free 😃
@Jorge Torres ~ NO! You did not get an unlucky lemon. I have this scooter and it's a POS! I DO NOT recommend this scooter!
Does the White one gets dirty easier?
Did the stem ever break?
excellent

It's looking like it'll be legal there soon, no?
@@GingerOnWheels cops turn a blind eye now but i really don't care legal or not
ps. it's only legal here at the moment if it's a hired scooter

Dumb Question: In a worst-case scenario where the battery/motor dies, how does it do via foot power?
"She's not a scooter" ..proceeds to take her for a ride after filming this
Do you recommend insurance while driving or not necessary? Which if any insures scooters 🛴👍
Can't insure scooters.
Agree suspension is not the best. And is not really portable. But i guess it is in the middle of the 2
I got the same scooter they can be unlocked to go 28-38 mph they very smooth sailing
How?
That's what I thought....
@@GingerOnWheels you can unlock them by changing the motor and the speed controller 😅
and gingeronwheels when is the range test coming out?
Before end of the week I hope
Just FYI All the Apollo Scooters have a USB port on the side of the controller.
Where do I get that knife?
Bro my s2 pro is not cutting it I need something faster 220lbs 6,1. What would you recommend. Apollo or any else ?
This emove cruiser is a solid step up from the S2 pro. They're still doing 7% off with the GINGERONWHEELS code, too.
@@GingerOnWheels is this how you got a free one lol
@@commuterwithascooter7272 it's not free, it'll go back once I'm done with the final review video. I was just giving you my recommendation of the scooters I've ridden and tested. My next suggestion would be a Wolf Warrior, but im guessing you don't want to drop 3k on an upgrade from an S2 pro. The Emove cruiser gets me up to 27mph, not slow by and stretch.
Your assistant seem like a real sweet person nothing bad reminds me of my girlfriend
Did you have your safety gear when you have the scooter accident because looking all your scratches it looks like you did not have any
I did. I now where full wrist guards that cover the knuckles better though.
This was a real eye-opener and I'm going to do my best in the future to avoid mishaps like this.
Nice crash Ginger ! You missed the face plant, I had one on my mountain bike !
Ouch 😔
Can you link me to another video where the scooter has a different fender?
Good eye, the half fender is part of our improvements to the product itself. You can read more about it here: www.voromotors.com/blogs/news/always-improving
We always listen to our user feedback to constantly update the EMOVE line of products.

Brushless DC Motor
Nominal Watt: 600W
Peak Power Output: 1,600W
@WHITE LION How does it get such a high peak power wattage?
I so want an Emove Cruiser, but the tire type is a pain to change. Wish they had a split rim model with normal tube tires.
Do the screws get loose after riding it?
A couple of them did. Check out my full review video of this scooter.
Hmm I didn't notice, I'll let you know after I test ride it around today.
Okay you can even test it at home just grab the handlebars and shake the scooter and bounce it off the tires. I noticed it when you were demonstrating the kick stand and the scooter bounced alittle
Just did some more bouncing. I didnt notice any abormal noise. The only noise that I heard was the keys clanking around on the handlebar.
Ginger On Wheels must just be mine then, I’m sending mine back to voro they’ll hopefully solve the issue. Saw someone here say their customer service is questionable, not true at all I had issues since day 1 and they were helping every step of the way
@@l-Lucid-l yeah, that's why I asked for their experience. I've had nothing but amazing communication with them.
So I take it you don't ride with knee guards, etc. Maybe a good idea?
WTF
Those injuries looks serious. Look at his fist
I’m 300lbs 6’3 is this good for me, I need a scooter under 1k$ how much max miles range can I get? Do you guys prefer something else?
Under 1k with your weight is going to be hard to manage. I'd at least consider something like the zero 10x.
How much is that
1600 I think?
Jesus man, above my budget 🤣🥲 anything under 1k?
Saw a video about an emove scooter and the rider said it annoyed the hell out of him to tighten most of the screws everytime he rode it. Any thoughts or experience with that?
I've never ridden an electric scooter where screws don't come loose. All I can say about my thoughts on the video that you watched are that the person who made the video doesn't watch my ginger on Wheels workshop videos. In every one of those I recommend using blue loctite on screws.
Actually that's not true, the 011x that I had came pre-installed with loctite on all the screws from rev rides.
@@GingerOnWheels right on, I didn't even think of loctite!
I have one of emove cruiser for 2 months now...
Some screws do not have lock on it.
So you may experience some loose bolts.
And as default, is always good a preflight checkup.
You just sold 2 voro's with the video for sure.
Make sure to use the link /code on the description to support this CZcams channel. 😁
The front fender was a customer recommended modification, as the front spring suspension was causing the wheel to hit the fender and break.
That makes sense, the front suspension does leave some to be desired.
@@GingerOnWheels a lot of the emove cruiser customers said the springs also rust after getting wet, so they recommend coating them with some kind of rust inhibitor. Just don't get the disc brake.
Be safe!!!
@@thetds101 I'll be riding mine fully underwater to test that theory.

out of morbid curiosity, where do you get the money to buy all of these scooters.
Start around 1:20 - you're welcome
@@jimmythepirate494 hm, I've never seen such a tool. Link me?
@@GingerOnWheels www.harborfreight.com/mini-tire-changer-61179.html
im sure there would have to be an improvision in regard to clamping the tire for the scooters particular rear wheel, ill be making that improvision if needed and ill update, but, it gets a tire off of a rim on a small scale. hope this helps.
That injury is definitely why i am skeptical about these toys
It came from an electric unicycle crash ... much more dangerous than scooters.
