As a handball player (we use resin on our hands and on the ball to get more grip) it's not a problem, you just have to let your hand with an open palm

One problem it would be harder to knock a ball round the post or over the crossbar the friction would reduce acceleration of the ball more meaning it wouldn't go as far when bouncing off your hand

Uhlsport make many different styles and price points of gloves. Shop around, you can get a decent pair for close to $50. They are the best gloves, IMO worth the $$ and will last if you wash them after every session.

I don't really get why companies and keepers all want the kind of gloves that can stick to the wall when on reality a well made glove with an efficient cut and balanced latex for durability would do the job better without a flashy gimmick.

You aren’t wrong! Grip isn’t crazy necessary but it is nice, but a good frame and technique will catch any shot!

@@ARSGoalkeeping If uhlsport made gloves that combined both their soft tier latex and the body of their highest tier supergrip gloves that would be perfection. I don't mind the supergrip latex, I just find it annoying to be stressing about degradation on my 100+ dollar gloves. Supergrip and urg1 and all of the other crazy sticky latexes are fun and help but unless I have a sponsorship I can go without having adhesive grip so strong I could climb walls lol.
