I just recently started a Renegon Female Shepard. With her, I will go a bit more for the War Assets and also gonna save the Council. To be honest, I like that ending. Paragon or Renegade. Doesn't matter.
Well, unlike most of the other decisions, allowing the council to die really does nothing to change the way it functions. They stay more or less exactly the same, just with the added buffer that they see Shepherd as a human supremacy nutball. At least, that how I see that decision. Oh, the replacement Salarian councilor ends up being grateful to Shepherd in ME 3 for letting her predecessor die on the Destiny Ascension.

Surprised you went with saving the council after being so commited to renegade
I too am surprised at this decision.
