Hi all. I can't say enough good things about Top Hydraulic. In their vid, at the end they show rotating the rabbit ears up to lower the top deck manually (looks like you need strength of two people to get it to fully seat). Ultimately, my main lift cylinders were blown (both sides). Given its winter in NY I have stripped the interior and removed all cylinders for rebuild...by Top Hydraulics of course. Unfortunately you can't know what is leaking until taking everything apart. I am actually sending mine out in a few days. There is a great step-by- step at MB World that you can download. This is a $1.25 worth of quarters job. You will use all of them getting the spring clips off certain cylinders that are impossible to see. Other than that, the job is very straight forward. Don't forget to check your pump for leaks after removing all cylinders. Mine was fine. Fyi...I am not getting a discount by Top Hydraulics - they just seem to be a great resource for those of us DIY'ers.
Thanks for the video i could close the roof following the video, but the roof doesnt move automatically, one of the back cilinders make noise and i have seen the hydraulic tank is empty, can be the problem that theres no hydraulic or a cylinder is broken?

What could be the reason of my convertible not been able to close after my return from the mall but I do hear some sound to show that the top is in operation but it’s not closing?
Hi guys I've got a 2000 mercedes Benz CLK 230 Kompressor soft top convertible can some one send me the fuse diagram for the fuses behind the light switch l took them out not realising the diagram isn't there so l don't know what fuses go were please someone help me thanks heaps Mark
Just purchased a very clean clk 500 for $2500 and my top is doing the same. It says top in operation and the windows go down but no movement ever figure it out?
Good to know, but still take a look and check....soon or not something will start leaking , is a common problem of all of them , first thing the pump leaks and has to be replaced and after main cylinder
The best should be between or almost max, you can buy on ebay is cheaper and add some with a kitchen syringe from dollar store and check again after few top operations if you see that is lower then definitely you have a leak
Explanation is very poor, camera movement extremely poor. Unless you know what you doing and or watched couple of other videos then it makes sense otherwise it’s very ….😢

My clk doesn’t have the tonneu cover lift cylinder release buttons, is this what you’re referring to? How do I operate it?

Box Impala check if there is enough hydraulic fluid in the pump, if not you have a leak
