Welcome To Bangor Maine! Home to Stephen King (writer of books like IT and The Shining), Bangor is in Penobscot County, has a population of around 33,039, which makes it the Maine's 3rd-largest city, behind Portland and Lewiston. You can fly in and out at the Bangor International Airport (BGR).
There is plenty of things to do in Bangor! You could catch a concert at the Cross Insurance Center, Canoe in the Kenduskeag River, Hike the various trails like the Bog Walk, see the Paul Bunyan Statue that inspired a scene in IT Chapter 2, or see many of the local pubs in the Downtown area like Paddy Murphies or the Orono Brewing Company!

I lived in Bangor in the 60s. My dad was stationed at the Air Force base when they closed it. Pretty city.
