my grandma didn't tell me her lasagna recipe before passing away she should be on this list
R.I.P.
If your granny was a nonna this makes a lot of sense
sorry dude
did you ask?
suzycreamcheesez don’t think so, he had her to make it for him when she was here.
“Albert Einstein was once asked, ‘How does it feel to be the smartest man alive?’, he responded, ‘I don’t know, you’ll have to ask Nikola Tesla.'”
And tesla once ask his mother is he legitimate
It turns out Einstein said a lot of things he never said.
Guys this comment was posted 2 years ago its kinda late don’t you think

If Nikola Tesla's work was appreciated in his time, we would've got the wifi 50 years earlier
Yep
We would be on 8G by now forget about 5G that would be 2000-2010 stuff
That would be a great alternate history writing prompt!
Yes
So were his ideas not written down? Why don’t we know about the ins and outs of his experiments? Aren’t there works on paper
*_My boy Nikola Tesla, is still WAY underrated. I still wish moar peeps knew about his inventions and what he did for society in whole. Hell one simple thing he did was revolutionize the power grind that was at the time all Direct Current. If he hadn't made an Alternating Current power grid the Earth would be in a huge layer of smog. That is because a Direct Current power grid would have required a coal or oil power plant every mile just so it'd work.. So again thank you Nikola Tesla you are one of the best inventors ever._*
NodMan I'm related to him. Seriously you may not believe me because I'm a random guy on CZcams but he's my great great grandmother's cousin
deepdiarrhea Can you fuck off?
NodMan “hip hip HOORAY!!!! Nodman a real visionary. 🤷🏼♂️
im from serbia and he is too
I'm a huge fan of Tesla however he didn't invent the AC Power grid - that's was invented before his time. An AC generator was first developed by Hippolyte Pixii in 1832. Single phase AC power with grid was being utilized in Europe by several notable inventors in the early 1880s. Similarly in the late 1870's Germany had developed a dual phase AC generator. Italian scientist Galileo Ferraris, even discussed his polyphase AC Power grid/generator in 1885.
Number 1: Mr. Krabs and the Krabby Patty formula
S-Ritchi its crab. The secret is crab meat.
It's just a hamburger...Plankton appears to use Raw meat and doesn't understand that all he has to do is simply cook the hamburger. Just my theory
He's still alive though...
S-Ritchi 🤣🤣🤣👌🏽
S-Ritchi The Krabby Patty is just a hamburger!
Tesla was way ahead of his time. He wanted to supply free energy for the entire world. Rather than make a profit like Thomas Edison.
Thomas Alva Edison was a savage. Leave that man alone. =RIPThomasEdison
False, a well known myth. Tesla worked in the field of transmission of power wirelessly, he used a conventional generator and suggested using solar or wind power as the source but it was not going to be free
Edison stole the idea from Louis LePrince
hmmm yeah Thomas Edison took profit because 1. he deserved it and 2. he needed it to continue his work, and he did continue working on new inventions until he died. neither was simply interested in profit. I kinda take offense to you insulting such a great man
@@doodmann5898 what idea? lol he had literally thousands, which one tiny insignificant one did he "steal"?
Tesla certainly belongs to the number one place. He was a fascinating person.
JP Morgan wasn't skeptical. He stopped financing the project because Tesla intended for it to be free to all mankind. Morgan was a money guy and for him if there was no profit there was no point.
And Edison pretty much sabotaged him, didn't he? Bullied Tesla right out of the game.
Smart guy, that JP
@@thedevilsrockstxr2309 all brain, no heart.
Yep. There's a pretty darn good book based on the Edison/Westinghouse kerfuffle that includes Tesla. It's called "The Last Days of Night." Worth reading.
@@lizardog so he was supposed to put his money into this person and not wanna make anything back, thats kinda selfish if u think, ur gonna let this man spend his money on ur projects and not intend to pay him back bcuz ur a nice guy, foh, if i put my money into an idea, im expecting to make sumn back if i think the idea is lucrative
i think that Tesla's biggest secret are pappers on which he drew a smartphone, and all sorts of things we use today. When they asked Albert Einstain how does it feel to be the smartest man alive, he replied:"I dont know, ask Nikola Tesla"
That never happend
Tin Spider The first part is especially untrue. There is absolutely nothing that documents that. However there was an interview in which he kind of described cellphones, but it's not as if one had to be an amazing visionary to predict cellphones anyway. Radio telephones were being tested and patents issued at the beginning of the 20th century. The walkie talkie was invented in the 1930's but the idea had been around for quite a while. This wasn't predicting anything beyond what any visioneer would "predict" - better, easier, smaller, cheaper, etc. versions of current technology. Hardly prediction. The second part is a wide spread rumor however, but it's just not documented.
Sebastian Quinchia well,in the interview he also mentioned that EVERYONE would have one and use them a lot,so...y'know,kinda accurate? .-.
Sebastian Quinchia Well, Tesla had great imaginative powers.
Tin Spider
Tesla is the only guy who's popular for being unpopular
There's the President as well, don't forget him.
Everyone knows Hitler and everyone knew Hitler. Tesla got popular because of how unknown he and his achievements were during his lifetime and for the long time after that.
poe
Nikita Kress im know what is tesla and itc.. you dont know what is tesla im from croatia and nikola tesla is croate
I love him tho😪 wish Hes here today
The greatest genius ever -- Nikola Tesla
Agreed
An American immigrant, go figure
mayank saini I'd argue Mendeleev is more impressive but maybe that's just the chemist in me
mayank saini de Vinci tho
In the fifteenth century he drew schematics for planes gliders helicopters and much more and he even wrote down what newton said about gravity.
He was stuck ahead of his time
One of the greatest, but there are many geniuses which were equally intelligent
Nobody:
Watch mojo: adds random irrelevant clip of Star Wars when talking about perpetual motion.
It was added in because perpetual motion would be.. " Unlimited power" and who says it better than Palpatine?
R.i.p Tesla
GRAv111 rip

I'm a simple man, I see Tesla I click.
Hi
Same
Same 😂
Yep me too
Me too! One of my favorite people in the world. Poor Tesla.
Research the Wardenclyffe Tower (1901-1917), also known as the Tesla Tower, was an early experimental wireless transmission station designed and built by Nikola Tesla.
you forgot rob kardashian who took oj's case truth to the grave

Clayon Gunzelle same dude same.
Clayon Gunzelle SAAAME
Clayon Gunzelle same
Clayon Gunzelle epitome of genius
KABOOM 12345 same
Who clicked because of Tesla?
I did.
he had some mind boggling inventions and discoveries, like this earthquake machine, that really just tuned into the frequency of an object(cuz everything has its own frequency, even humans) which captures the molecules of an object and when you raise the frequency even higher it displaces those molecules, causing objects to shake, warp, levitate and sometimes completely turn to dust... just research the earthquake machine or the Hutchison effect... Tesla did so much more than just tesla coils; he was one of the brightest minds to ever live....
me too
I did
Blah blah blah
+Next POTATO he was born in smiljan serbia
I think Tesla was truely a genius...his alternating current made many household products possible...things that we still use today...and I wonder how many more idea's he had ...or inventions in the works...he was so intelligent...beyond his time ...I'd love to hear him talk and see how he thinks...men like that are intriguing..so brilliant
yep his inventions was way 2 practical than any other
Damn you like dots huh?
Correction: Tesla’s inventions didn’t die with him. His pattens were confiscated after his death. Therefore, someone has them.
Trump's grandfather surely saw them.
@@davidbolha pretty sure he confiscated them I might be wrong tho
@@mikelewis2665 It's plausible. 🙄

I love lists like this. They keep me well informed and my brain constantly stimulated.
Imagine the secrets we don't know about and never will come out!!!
Scary
I only came for Tesla
Løgan me too
Nikola Tesla like
"He he I KNOW SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T ! LOL"
Tesla, ahead of his time and just now we're barely seeing some of his ideas come to light.
Why Tesla not honoured with a Google Doodle on his birthday this year?
Sonu Vai he is
I Love TESLA he is Our Man. Good Thing there is no Edickson!
BTW i like the Starlite too, think of it guys that kind of material.
Glenn Quagmire if it wasn’t for Edison you wouldn’t be watching this
@@specs6310 nonsense, Thomas Edison is more of a Steve Job than Nikolai Tesla himself. He himself is a businessman first, a scientist second.
Nikola Tesla greatest Serb, scientist and man who ever lived.
johnniesnebula greatest scientist is a silly concept, but even if it weren't it would make more sense to grant it to someone who broke more fundamental ground in a feild and used the scientific method to create theories with predictive capabilities ( like Einstein)

Tesla is one of the only famous people I like.
he died poor and lonely ... such a genius ...
Never found out what his death ray was either.

Who else do you like?
He makes great cars
I love that mostly The Office clips are used for Ben Franklin.
We're Tesla Lovers
Tesla- greatest scientists ever, he is one of the reasons that this world is the way it is, and that's why we should respect him, and Serbia
Twd Kenny Serbians kill infants and consume their hearts
Heribert hahaha really...lol
Heribert no?, that's what Croatians do(did)
lol why should we respect Serbia ? Just because there were a few bright minds doesn't mean that the whole country is bright.
Twd Kenny facts! Einstein said he was he was the smartest!
I just came for Nikola Tesla
thats gay
Thanks for sharing :-)
That honorable mention got me laughing pretty good. It just says moved big boulders with tiny equipment.
What about Alan Turing? It's not like he pretty much won World War II but wasn't allowed to tell anyone about it.
OH WAIT. THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED....
oh well
I loved seeing the silent scene from The Office titled "Benjamin Franklin". Nicely done watchmojo 😘
That’s the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what Nicola Tesla took the grave
A man who sacrificed everything, and i mean everything for his work, for his dream, a dream of the future, a dream to change the society. Tesla you will always be remembered, idk why but my eyes always get teary 😭😭
Gold Roger from one piece
Hahahaahhahahahahahahahaha
This made my day
Heart of Justice IZ U TIGERED
Thomas Owens LMAO
yet we still don't what kind of treasure he left in raftel
I feel inspired to go break into Prince's vault.
Bismuth is Okay yeah OK
bring back some U-4 for me when you do
I've always thought the reason why Tesla was a life-long virgin was just because his brain spent all its energy on other things...
I enjoyed the video, and thank you for that! I would have loved to have had the honorable mention’s secret described, not just briefly posted
Tesla is #1
Lakii thank you mate
Yup, just like you only reason i clicked this vid was cause if the Tesla thumbnail.
hmm...
You included a love letter but not that little florida man who moved tons of rock alone and without tools smh
Very good list after long time
Like who hacked mojos account?
Like what?
Banana Duck oh shit hi banana duck!
JAF lmao gross
What's gross?
comment just for Tesla..
Pankaj Singh tesla is from serbia
??? I doubt anyone will believe me but I'm actually related to Tesla. He's my great great grandmother's cousin. It's true
Where are you from Tristan ?
No, he's not. Hes county is Austro-Hungarian Empire, to be more precise, village smiljan, near Gospic.
Tristan Radeka sure tell me something in serbian
An honorable mention should be Freddie Mercury, although it’s technically Mary Austin’s secret, he told her where he wanted to be buried so nobody could find him and so he could Rest In Peace
How about Jack the killer ? Or Zodiac killer ? Or other murderers that haven't been found ?
Jack the Ripper is still unknown.
It's Jack the Ripper.
Jack the ripper
Finally an interesting list
Dr. Manhattan agree
Dr. Manhattan hey, how long has it been since you killed Rorschach
What's up doc
Would anyone happen to know the music running in the background of this video? Many thanks in advance for any help :)
My thoughts before clicking the video...
"If they took it to the grave, how do y'all even know about it?!"
More than half the stratovarius survived that’s actually pretty amazing
Another honorable mention(Can't remember his name) is a guy who discovered how to lift extremely heavy objects with levitation. Some of you may have seen it on discovery channel. Truly amazing.
Edward Leedskalnin.
ViDi Games Thanks
You forgot to mention when Tesla died, the government came in and took all of his possessions.
Can someone point me in the direction of this music they used through the whole video. I just love it
*History has given us some genius minds*
Ya
This is why we need time machines
Look up 'Light of Other Days' by Arthur C. Clark. It's about using a wormhole to watch the past. It's a pretty cool idea.
Time machines are available but the cost of your soul in this point in time and space thanks to the illuminati...Let them go to hell and back
Tesla made one, but didn't tell anyone about it...
Someone give me the music link please
Cool list :-)
7:53 Nikola Tesla, for those who are wondering 😉
Jelena Marsenic Wasn't wondering. Don't care.
hvala
I was wondering what huge secret Frank Zappa took to his grave. He looks so much like Tesla.
no secret he was a asshole for no reason
I remember in a three stooges episode, “disorder in the court” I think is the name, they smashed a Stradivarius 😭
A possible explanation for the superiority of Stradivarius' instruments is the timber he used, from trees that survived a catastrophic cold snap.
How do you know them if they took them to their grave?
For those of you who don't know, Edward Leedskalnin should have beat out more than half the guys on this list. His work with magnetism could have revolutionized space flight and air travel had he lived longer.
Came here for Tesla, but really wanted to see where Stradivari ranked. Love hearing his strings.
I know the story of Jerome because i'm from Nova Scotia. I was totally surprised to see him on the list at all let alone #2.
do a top 10 worst commercials

PLEASE TELL THE WHOLE IN DEPTH STORY OF NIKOLA TESLA
I got to hear a stradaviri live once. The most beautiful music ive ever heard.
(Sees Title) If they died with the secret, how did do we know?
If u r TESLA lover then like this comment for his R.I.P
tesla is greatest inventor just imagine today's world without electricity
He didn't invent electricity
Recent studies have suggested the Strativari forests were the source of the rich sound. Thick and dense trees or something like that.
I live out on the East End of Long Island New York, 15 minutes drive from Tesla's Wardenclyffe Estate... A few years ago they began renovations on the building and turned it into a science center in his honor....
WTF WHERE IA EINSTEIN HIS LAST WORDS WERE LITERALLY FUCKING "THE MEANING OF LIFE IS"
What about my boy, Alan Turing, WWII greatest behind-the-scenes hero!
Hahahah I love the star wars cameo
Now I want to see the Red Violin. That movie is so lit, it's honestly a movie I bring up often just because I play voilin and would kill just to hold one long enough to produce some iconic music.
the coral castle guy is pretty interesting
Tesla my man 👌
I love that serb from a thumbnail that have same name as me😏
Pls make another top 10 like this.
This list is bad, the rankings make no sense, some Cardinal never got confirmed is a bigger deal than perpetual motion (even if it was pseudo-perpetual) and a unmeltable polymer?
#2 shouldn't even count cause the dude had brain damage and couldn't speak, that's just an unsolved mystery not "Someone took a secret to their grave!" Also even if it counted why the hell would it rank #2?
yea number 2 was just stupid
Where is Lee Harvey Oswald???
it is bad, totally agree.
An unconfirmed cardinal means next to nothing. Heck, even most Catholics wouldn't care. As for the supposed perpetual motion machine, no such thing exists or is even possible. The line that got to me was where she said that most had failed. No. ALL have failed. Every single one either runs down or is shown to have an external power source.
The star wars clip for the perpetual motion machine was also very out of place and lowkey annoying.
I would've thought Jack the Ripper would have made the list.
Thank you Benjamin! - Detective James Carter, LAPD
I've heard of the special violins, but I didnt realize the secret to making them was gone
Just love Tesla and its work.... 🙏✊👍
TESLA #1, World Scientist EVER, comes from SERBIA
Abinash Bhallaa takoe brateee
He was an Alien 👽
He is from Croatia though..
He is serbian but comes from croatia
I absolutely agree.
Could you imagine what tesla could do and achieve in this day and age with modern tools and equipment, a one in a life time genius who paved the way we are how we are today
