No one like him no one - the world suffered such a loss when he passed.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Tony Randall-as Felix Unger; and Jack Klugman-as Oscar Madison-on reruns of "The Odd Couple" since January, 1977. The original ABC prime time run was from September, 1970 to July 4'th, 1975!

The tune they played when he walked out was "Boo-Hoo" a 1937 hit for Guy Lombardo. The tune was removed from the syndicated repeat showings..Randall loved that era of tenor bands & often sang numbers from that era & did a wicked funny take offs on Carmen Lombardo & Rudy Vallee!

Johnny Carson to Tony: "You really don't age." And he didn't until he died one day.

    Randall was quite a character!
Carson liked him and gave Randall lots of air-time.
    Great publicity.
Sinatra was like that, if he liked someone, the sky was the limit.
Sinatra opened the doors for hundreds of artists.
Don Rickles was one of them.
Their mothers became Friends, and Rickels' told Sinatra's mother, "My son os trying to make it as a Comediant, but he needs a little help.
And Sinatra stood by Rickels Forever.

the song they played when he came out was one he once sang on the tonight show. he sang two or three times on here, always stuff that was pretty funny. I've looked for his singing on youtube and it's not on here. the one they played went, "boo hoo, I'll tell my mommy on you--" etc. the hokiest one went, "have a madeira, ma dear," really silly.

I couldn't imagine eating FROGS or the little amphibians too!. LOL Oh C'Mon!!! That joke was told in homage to another, great "LATE(LATE).TIME" host CRAIG FERGUSON. CBS should've paid him what he wanted!!!

My guess is that Tony Randall while being obviously gay was very particular unlike his costar Rock Hudson.

No! Tony Randall wasn't gay. Perhaps he was a little bit far over too excentric and he was somewhat very theatrical in his mannerisms, but definitely not gay. In fact, Tony Randall was married to the same woman, for over 50 years and the only reason that Ed Macmahon kissed him on the cheek is simply because they had rehearsed this many times before, on the Johnny Carson show. It's a well renowned custom among men, in Europe. Even Frank Sinatra would kiss Dean Martin on a regular basis. This is showbuissness...Man!
