Anyway, what i meant in my earlier comment was, when reading the surah, i can read the alphabets correctly (at least i thought so) but when i read to myself or during salah, sometimes i got confused, and started doubted whether it should be sin or sod, dhal or zay, haa or haa(the one from the throat). I think this is not a problem with those who understand arabic language. Certain words such as allazii (those who), it is easy to remember that it is dhal not zay because allazii appear a lot in the Quran, but other words that not so often plus me not understand the meaning, always got me doubted. Sir I am a college student and I am preparing for competitive exam and I don't have enough time to go to a particular place where I can learn Quran very clearly but Alhamdulillah I know Quran and I can read as well but I want to clear my basics very clearly which book should I prefer first like Qaida etc

If you stop at this word then you will make it otherwise don't prolong it cuz that "ی" is a "لین" letter since it has "zabar" or "fatha" before it
