her character development is one of the best things of this show
No it's not she was never a very good character she started off as a bratty girl and went crazy after a boy she did it with died which somehow made her turn into a heartless woman now she kills who she wants and acts like she is so strong
Richard White she started off as a girl who was told she was a mistake for being born. they hid her on the floor , lincoln and indra were the only people who accepted her . she was strong and lincoln made her stronger. she became a warrior and then when her people needed a leader, they looked to her. she made decisions that had no other option. if she didnt start the fighting pits, there would be chaos for all the crimes committed. if she didn’t force them to eat their friends n family, they would have all died in a couple of years. she helped her people survive. sure she made some actions dat caused death in the end of season 5, but everyone on this show has made questionable actions . but at least she doesn’t hide from it, and now she is trying to get redemption.

When you look at her now and realize that when Bellamy couldn’t find Octavia when she went missing from camp in season 1 Clarke says, “It’s Octavia, she’s probably out chasing butterflies or something.” It really shows how much she’s changed.

The scene where she talks to Octavia about power when they are sitting in the aftermath of the destruction of earth got me thinking "wouldn't be cool if these two teamed up the next season" Then viola the two Serpents in the garden
This editing is so amazing. Marie's kill it everytime she's on screen. I'm maybe in minority here, but I'm actually rooting for bloodreina to win. I hope in the future they not doing 180 with her character. Her experience is part of who she is.

well, gabriel said that the stuff he gave her would show her, her purpose. She opened the red box, and found out that one of her purposes was getting forgiveness. The other one is why she ran out from the anomaly. Diyoza is still alive and in there, we heard her call for Octavia when she saw the green box

I don't like how they judge Blodreina. She was not right (just like everyone else), but she only did what It was necessary to be done

That's how it works for those who are in charge. It's not important what they do and for what they do what they do. They'll ALWAYS be judged. She did what others couldn't do to survive. She did save them all. It's easier to judge her and lay on her all the responsibilities rather than taking their own responsibilities for what it was done.
I was honestly a bit turned on when she murdered everyone in that hall and made them bow down.
Nobody judged blodreina for what she did in the bunker. For the six years, it's obvious she only did what she had to in order to keep everyone alive; everyone knows that. People 'judge' her because of the things she did after they got OUT the bunker. Such as burning Monty's farm, waging an unneeded war, be willing to kill anyone who gets in her way no matter who, throwing the people she cares most abt in the fighting pit (including her own brother), and as Diyoza says, "Liking the power" because its the kiss of death. As soon as the bunker opened, Bloodreina turned into the villain.
"Youre here because of me" that hurt a lot. It was the proof that Lincoln was her Everything and no one will ever replace hin Not even Gabriel even tho they really are kinda cute 😭💓😁
Octavia is by far the strongest character of them all
I hate what they are doing to Octavia :/ she was amazing, she did everything needed to survive, I can't see her as the "bad" part of the history, I hate that they are taking away from her what she has conquered, her strenght, her spirit. All of this looks humilliating for someone as big as Blodreina
I get her actions in the bunker, but after they got out she went to far. There didn't need to be a war, but she kept pushing for it and it got the world destroyed. Also choosing to have her brother and Indra fight to the death. I don't care she teared up when she let them fight, she chose to have one of them dead. People who loved her and who she loved. People who weren't bad people.. Yeah, no, there's no forgiveness for that.
Octavia had her reasons. But that does not make her innocent in any way. But that doesn’t mean she can’t still be redeemed. Her actions in the bunker don’t define her, but they are still a part of who she is/who she did/could become. This is what makes her a complex character.

it's true tho, the Anomaly gave her a second chance. She found her redemption at her small family at that lone planet. I love how her journey in to becoming a warrior to farmer finally happened, just like how Illian tried showing her. And also how it parallels that she told Monty "but the farmers won't save the world Monty, the warriors will" but somehow she became one, abandoning the dark path of warrior she had been led to.
